Honestly, I think I’m mostly excited for everyone to stop asking when we’re getting married! Haha we’ve been together for six years, lived together for 4, bought a house together, share bills, have shared accounts, are each others’ beneficiaries…I’m not sure really what will change after marriage. I mean, I’m sure it will, but I can’t picture it right now lol

I honestly do not know.  Like brereuther, we already live together, share bills, have a joint account etc.  We are also in our 30’s, have steady careers, no interest in children, I will not be changing my last name and I already trust he is fully committed to me.  Marriage won’t really change anything except on our tax returns.

So I suppose my answer is the most exciting part is that it will be done.  Don’t have to think about getting married, when to get married, what the ceremony will be like etc.

I am most excited about living with him and building our own little family. I have been with my fiancé for 10 years and we are finally getting married!! We met a young age and wanted to wait till we were ready. He is my best friend and we have everything in common so it really is so exciting. I absolutely cannot wait to go on our Honeymoon officially as husband and wife and to share his last name as well!!

We love to travel however it has been atleast 3 years now and we have not been on a trip alone together. We have a good group of freinds ( couples ) who always come along with us it is always a great time with them however the luxury to do as we please when we please is very much missed. We love them dearly but I need my one on one time with my man. My freind joked that we would find him in the bushes lurking on us while on our Honeymoon haha I said NOOOO!!! not a joke at ALL lol

For me, it’s being a proper family. We probably don’t want kids but we’ve been together for many years since we were young so I do feel like he’s family already. Being married and having the same name will cement that for me.

futuremrsjisa :  just being married to him. Living together. Sharing our lives together without any restrictions. Learning together. I haven’t had sex before so he’ll be my first. it’ll be exciting when we go to our honeymoon 😀 so excited to call my BFF my soulmate, my husband. And who can’t be excited about finally getting their second band! After three long years together, I’ll be complete. Finally.

We’re getting married to have kids. Thats the whole big reason behind it as we both agreed we didn’t want to have any children without first being married. So, I guess kids?

I mean, we already live together and all that so they day to day stuff won’t change for us.

For us it’s both of our second time around so we are just looking forward to doing all the things we wanted initially, but with the right person

Waking up next to him every day and experiencing the joys of parenthood together 😀 Seriously I melt into a big mushy love puddle imagining having babies with him!!

We already own a home together, have pets together, have joint finances, etc. The day to day won’t change. But I CAN’T WAIT to call him my husband, to share a last name, and to start trying for children (we’ll be starting immediately as we’re older). I’m also really excited for the wedding to just be over. I would have eloped had it been solely up to me.

To live together and have a family together! I love the idea of a wedding (or a celebration of us) but I am most looking forward to living in the same house as him with all our things around us. Might sound a bit meh to some people who already live together but we’re in a LDR (for four years) and we’re getting married when I go back to where he is so that’s what I’m most excited about!

When we get married, we’ll have been together for nearly 10 years, living together for 9 so our day to day lives won’t really change.

I guess I will be glad to finally have the legal recognition that we are each other’s next of kin. My country doesn’t recognise cohabitating partners. So if technically, anything happened to my Fiance, his parents have legal rights to make decisions etc and vice versa.

Just being able to call him my husband! I mean, we’ve been living together for 3 years and people (friends and fam) already call him my husband (and me his wife) but I secretly hate it. I want to be able to call him that and it be official!
