I have been struggling to think of something cute and special for my honey…
Thought I would get some ideas from the hive! Last year I got him an iPhone, it doesn’t neccesarily have to beat that, but something cool! lol

Yeah I dont wanna spend a ton of money this year since we are saving for the wedding. I have been trying to think of something sweet to do, but all of it seems so…lame or something lol
I dunno, I guess I feel like vday is so much for the girl, I just wanna do something that he will actually like 😀

I still owe him the other half of his Christmas gift, so I’m lumping it together and getting him an RC-plane.

Last year I bought him a card and he bought me two cards and two reese’s eggs (my fav). lol. Prob something similar this year 🙂

We usually give each other something small and inexpensive. Since he’s a beer snob, this year I am giving him a nice craft beer – it’s a Belgian style winter ale that happens to be called “Adoration.” I think it’s appropriate for the occasion. 🙂

Fiance and I are on a pretty tight budget, so we came up with an awesome plan for a nice night in. We decided to get a movie from Netflix, and each put forth $20 to go to our favorite local sushi restaurant and get take out. It’s the best sushi around, and we don’t have to tip or worry about paying for drinks if we were to dine in. Plus, we love the idea of cuddling up on the couch with awesome sushi, pj’s and a movie!
It’s pretty much a treat for each of us, and we decided not to get each other gifts. I feel like he already got me the most perfect gift this past November (THE PROPOSAL!!).
I’m so excited about it and am definitely looking forward to Valentine’s Day!! 🙂

- Wedding: June 2014 - Ontario, Canada ♥ EDD- April 2016
I’m probably going to get him some of his favourite chocolates and a card. His birthday is on February 28th so he’ll get more then. My birthday is on Valentine’s Day so this year we’re thinking of buying something bigger together with the money we would have spent on individual gifts (: We don’t really need anything individually but would love something bigger that we can share.

I may make him some cookies. Won’t buy him anything because we don’t like buying into the whole commercialized aspect of Valentine’s.

We just take each other out for dinner at The Oceanaire. He also has a tradition of getting me 2-3 Valentine’s Cards, because he likes to have at least one funny card, and one romantic card. I normally make him a little book. He has a whole drawer full of little books full of little pictures and my doodles about him.

I am getting him the boudoir photo shoot I meant to do before we got married and couldn’t afford, theeeen meant to get for our 4 year (dating) anniversary and couldn’t afford.

I’m making him a red velvet cake (his fave) and probably get him a card.

I don’t think we are planning to do much. I told him we shouldn’t spend any money since we are in the process of buying a house that needs a lot of renovations and the wedding so soon. We got engaged a year ago Feb 19 so we might just go out to a nice dinner that night. I will probably make him some red velvet cake balls since he LOVES those.
