Our plane tickets to Cancun were our "Valentine’s" day gift. We don’t go till the end of the month, but it was an excuse to not get each other something. (Or if we do it will be very small).

We’re poor too at the moment, so V-day will probably be pretty low key. Maybe a computer game and a cute valentine 😀

We got married 2 weeks ago, and I’ve been sitting on my book of boudoir pics from December. It’s going to be a BIG surprise! I was going to give him the book the night before the wedding, but there was so much going on, I wanted to stretch it out and be special.

I am planning on booking a hotel room for May. We are doing our engagement phoot shoot in another state, so I want to turn it into a fun getaway (just one night, midweek). Hopefully I can get a deal since hotels aren’t doing too well.

We are saving, so we decided to exchange handmade cards!

I’m bad b/c we agreed not to get anything for Valentine’s Day (and our Anniversary, they are 4 days apart) but I found the perfect present so I got him a gift anyway :-/
I got us cooking lessons at Sur La Table for the Monday after Valentine’s Day (two days after v-day and 2 days before our anniversary) to cook Comfort foods – all the food they say we’re going to make FH loves and we love cooking, so its perfect 🙂
