I am in serious need of ideas! I got my mom some pretty Kendra Scott jewelry but my dad is super hard to shop for. I feel like I always resort to getting him something boring last minute and it is never a surprise because I have to press him so hard for ideas. What are you getting your dad/FIL for Christmas?

I like the idea of Man Crates from mancrates.com.
I got my dad one once and he loved it 🙂

Does your dad golf? If so, he will certainly enjoy a package of his favorite golf balls.

A Yeti tumbler cup and some dry fit shorts. He’s always outside and we are in Texas, so it’s the best of both worlds

A cutting board and joint gift with my Mom of a shutterfly photo book of our wedding and a couple of 8 x 10s. I looked around my parents’ house at Thanksgiving for things I thought they needed 😉

Does your dad enjoy working on things/using tools? My dad loves taking on projects and is always working on something. About 8 years ago, we got him a Ryobi tools starter kit, and he loved it. And the best thing about it? There are countless numbers of other tools to add to the set (they all use the same battery), so pretty much each Christmas, birthday and father’s day we get him a couple new tools that he’s been eyeing. He has probably 25 different Ryobi tools now, and my brother in law has probably 10. They share their tools with each other when working on projects. My dad’s actually getting my Fiance a starter kit for Christmas this years so that they will all have the same tools. The only bad thing about them is that Home Depot is the only place you can buy them. We normally just order them online.

I got my dad a pair of black Roots sweatpants and a bottle of Flor di Cana 12 year rum. He also asked for dress socks, gift cards to his favourite clothing stores, white undershirts, “business casual shirts and pants” haha, Home Depot gift card, a Steelers sweatshirt or toque, and “nice bottle of rum or bourbon”.
I bought a gorgeous soft Roots sweater for my father-in-law (he asked for “warm clothes”) and a big bottle of Christms beer.
As I am writing this, I am realizing that I basically got them the same gift without thinking about it!
Good luck deciding on something for your dad! Alcohol is always a safe bet for us 😀

I love that my dad makes an Amazon wishlist so it’s super easy to pick a gift for him. This year I got him the Amazon Echo Dot.

Dad just got the Amazon echo, so I’m having fun finding new smart home things that will pair with it so he can tinker and set those up.

A “shopper”, you know, a shoppingbag on wheels! It is for both mom and dad actually. Since they are moving to a new town, and the food market won’t be too far away from their apartment, it is perfect for them yo walk there, but it is a bit too far to carry a lot of bags if they are heavy, so I thought this would be a great idea to make them walk more, since they probably would just take the car otherwise and that is not so healthy! 🙂
And he will also get a rubiks cube. lol.
My mom will get a nice designer “egg”. 🙂

I got my dad the new Tommy Bahama cologne (he LOVES their cologne) and a New England Patriots beanie like the one Tom Brady wears. He’s super easy 🙂

oh my gosh, best idea ever! We have an Echo and my dad was having a lot of fun playing with it on Thanksgiving so I just ordered one 🙂

I got my Dad a Cubs shirt, I will probably also knit him a scarf. Last year I got him one of the Yeti Ramblers and he loved it!
