Just a free card I made myself, with the help of a sales clerk, at a scrapbook shop during their “Make It Event”.

The wedding is taking up a lot of the special occasions’ budget this year. 🙁

We don’t really celebrate V-day…I mean, we do sweet stuff for each other but we definitely don’t go out and spend money. I’ll probably cook him something he loves and bake some yummy treats.

I’m getting his favorite wedding picture of us custom framed. We got an 11×14 with our package. I just ordered it today at AC Moore, so I should get it right on time.

I’ll probably get him some of those cute V-day things you see in like CVS & Rite Aid too.

Fiance and I said we wouldn’t get anything, but can never resist. I ordered him a new scarf (I HATE his old one lol) and one of those neck warmer things for snowboarding. We will also make homemade heart shaped pizza that night 🙂

We’re not doing anything big, because we’re in financial/life limbo right now (DH is searching for a job, we’re hoping to move cross-country very soon).  Also, our birthday (I’m 2 hours older than him) is February 13.  We’ll probably cook a nice dinner at home, and I’m going to knit him a hat and scarf in his alma mater’s school colors.  For his birthday the day before, I’m buying him a nice Bodum french press coffee maker (we’re coffee snobs, and I broke our french press recently – I’m replacing it with a bigger, nicer model).

I’m not sure! I love all holidays.

Probably a controller dock for his PS4 controllers, haha. Or something for the gym. Sexual favors 😉

We are going on a vacation in March. As I’m a grad student so money is tight, we really won’t be doing much for valentines, but ive never been much in to it anyway! We would rather have extra cash to spend on our vacation! We will probably go get Thai food or make nachos at home (which is awesome)

@DandSwedding:  Honestly, I probably won’t buy him much this Valentine’s Day. But I don’t want anything either. Our reasoning is:

1) We don’t usually go all out for Valentine’s and

2) We are saving as much as possible for our house downpayment in July (when it’s finished being built).

In the past, we have bought food to have a nice dinner, like steak and lobster. Two years ago, he bought me a red kitchen aid stand mixer (best gift ever!) and I bought him gummy bears/a card. Ok, I felt bad…but in all fairness, we had agreed on no gifts.

@Billsgirl:  Those will give some nurse a good laugh if he ever has to be taken to ER.

The best gift I got my SO was a camcorder (which he had been wanting for sometime). This year (even though he ask me not to get him anything) I will be getting him a CD player with 7 inch screen for his car!

@DandSwedding:  Honestly, nothing.  We haven’t celebrated the holiday together in a long time.  My husband and I do small things for each other throughout the year to show our love and affection for one another, so doing it for one day seems pointless to us.
