I got my guy cufflinks with his initials that came with a monogrammed case from Things Remembered. They are amazing and cost less than 50!

I got him a DIY Boudoir album 🙂 It cost about 40 bucks, but I got him a really nice hinged leather bound album 🙂

We also had a $50 apiece budget…and then his iPod broke.  So I am replacing his iPod touch and he is getting me a tiiiiiiiny present, since the iPod is more than $100 and that’s what we’d budgeted to spend total.  I am hoping for cuddle and kiss coupons!

Our limit was $50.00 too. I got him nice work socks, a reading light, an xbox game, some pajama bottoms, a beard/hair trimmer, and some gel inserts for his work boots. I got everything on sale.

So far I’ve gotten my Fiance a digital photo frame (he is a photographer) and some peanut butter filled Lindor truffles 🙂

BunnyBridetobe, you are a saint for sticking to the budget by getting a tiny gift!!

We had a $50.00 limit too – I got my BF a Simpsons season (on sale), book, Ween t-shirt, and some candy.  I think he’ll be happy!

but i bought Fiance a ton of car washing stuff – he loves his car – i also bought him a new wallet because his is falling apart, i get home last night and he is like hey like my new wallet. i wanted to scream at him “YOU DONT BUY THINGS FOR YOURSELF 3 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!”

I got him a slew of things, I had a little extra money and went a tad over board on him and my little guy.  But here are some ideas.  Fleece PJ pants, a hands free head set, an Ipod shuffel, a watch, an itunes gift card.

Also search groupon… they have some awesome dinner coupons right now plan a night out for the two of you… include the gift card a movie, a cd, and some massage oils… a romantic night for two… bundle it all in a basket with a bow.

:o)

@totheislnds:

OMG!! thats funny! So Fiance has a november birthday but he is soooo an impulse shopper.  If he wants it he buys it.  Both gifts I got him for his bday he bought the night before.  I put a shopping band on him from november 1- december 26th.  Lol  I had no choice!

Nothing…he is picking out his own gift. He always gets a larger budget than me b/c his birthday is Christmas Eve. Knowing him it will probably be clothing though.

@totheislnds: Oh my gosh, too funny!  My Dad is the worst about this–he’ll go out last-minute gift shopping for my mom, and end up buying himself a jacket.  I’m like, hello! Mum got you a jacket and I can’t tell you that, but just put it down!

My fiance’s family has a rule about not buying things for yourself for 2 weeks before Christmas.  Give the rest of us a chance!

@totheislnds: I feel your pain. My husband has managed to purchase multiple items I had on his gift idea list, and almost everything else wasn’t in stock, to the point where all that’s left are a couple of books. People who buy stuff for themselves around gift-giving times deserve lumps of coal!

@redherring:

There is a site where you can get play coal… perhaps it is the season.  lol
