Thank you ladies!!
@BeckyS0: I want to keep things simple, but I can’t. I am a gift giver. It’s my love language and a problem at times lol
@MrsWBS: I love this! Very thoughtful! I personally love snacks so I can appreciate this idea lol
@Haweewee: Very nice! I like that idea and I like that he already chose a wallet on his own. Men can be so picky about wallets.
@engleman10513: Uhhhh that’s definitely a big deal and a BIG gift! You go girl for waiting until your wedding night! Woot woot!
@MrsBlah: DANG! That’s serious! lol Super thoughtful. I want to know how he reacts to these gifts. Seriously. The fish hook is awesome! 🙂
@madtownbee: Awww my Fiance and I met on match too!! 🙂 I wish I could get a print out of all of our text messages (that’s how we communicated the most). That would be so cool. I love this idea!
@CaliBeeBride0813: Technically we agreed that if it wasn’t in the budget, then we would postpone gifts. So this is something he will get, but depending on how things go in the last month, he may get it after the wedding and that’s ok. Nothing wrong with doing what works for the both of you!
@SouthernGirl: Cufflinks are another great idea and there are so many unique styles out there!
@MlleFabuleux: Very nice! I applaud anyone doing a boudoir photo shoot as a wedding day gift. I can’t imagine fitting it into the planning. You are a super bride for that!

@Diamondgurl: it’s a newer thing… pushed out from the wedding industry to the masses to get us to buy more stuff. lol if you and your Fiance haven’t agreed to it, then don’t worry about it. 🙂

I did something similar with the box of gifts. I created this on fancy white paper with black matte and will put inside with all the gifts.

@VermontBride13: I really really like that!! 🙂 I’m looking at vintage boxes to package everything together. I will have the groomsmaid take it to him while she meets with the guys to put on their boutonnieres.

Stamped metal keychain with the coordinates of our ceremony (I got me one, too) and a stamped metal love letter (side of a credit card). We’re huge note writers, so he’ll love having a permanent one. 🙂

@AndysCraftsNmore: Red Envelope. I hope he likes it. He keeps randomly blurting out that he needs some collar stays

- Wedding: August 2013 - Brookfield Zoo
I got Fiance a gorgeous pocket watch and a hollow egg with a little note in it (super cute thing I found on Etsy).

He got me =)
Honestly at the time, I was more focused on picking out something cute for my BMs than I was for my husband!

Love your idea, OP! So creative! I got Fiance a pair of Burberry cufflinks that he will wear for the wedding and of course whenever after. I told him ages ago that if we got married, that’s what I would get him, so I did 🙂 He knows I have them, but he doesn’t get to have them until the night before the wedding. I don’t think he is getting me anything, though.

I’m so boring, I’m getting him silver cuff links from Tiffanys with our monogram. He was really excited about the tux he bought and his new French shirt, I wanted him to have something special.

These are so cute! I didn’t even think about this… are we supposed to get each other stuff? Now I kinda want to!

I got him an iPod mini. His house was broken into and all they took was his 8-year-old iPod, and when we were looking at replacements, that’s the model he liked.
I thought about getting it engraved, but we did that with our rings and since it’s technology, it won’t last forever.

My fiancee and I decided not to buy each other gifts because we were already paying for the wedding ourselves and we are remodeling our kitchen. But I cheated a little bit and made him something, and my “gift” is more about experiences than an actual thing.
I planned one date for each month of our first year of marriage. I wrote up little poems for each date, put them in envelopes sealed with stickers that said, “Do not open until (month)” and put each envelope in a little $1 photo album. Next to each envelope there is a space for us to insert a picture when we go on the date.
The poem on the front page of the album read,
A Year of Dates
Who says when we’re married we can’t go on dates?
Let’s make our first year of marriage fun, memorable, and great
I’ve thought of ideas and made all the plans
All I need is your company, your hand in my hand
No peeking, though, don’t spoil the surprise
Let’s make some memories,
Love, your soon-to-be bride

I bought him personalized cufflinks months ago but of course his shirt doesn’t have cufflink holes. Anyway, he’ll get them still because they are made out of wood and go with the whole theme of our wedding!
I also got him an engraved scotch glass and I’ll be buying him an expensive bottle of scotch which he’ll love. 🙂
