My mom just wnats a bunch of clothes- she never spends money on herself, so I’m getting her a few new tops, shoes, etc. I am also splurging on a fancy-ish skin cream for her.

My dad will get a new pair of running shoes or a new GPS.

We got FI’s mom a Kindle and his dad’s gift is still up in the air.

My sisters and I went thirds on a mother necklace for my mom (obviously it wouldn’t be for my dad that’d be weird) I don’t know what to get for my dad yet, maybe some godiva chocolate and other things that I’ll figure out at some point.

Mom: Seasons 1 and 2 of Parenthood, and a Lori Boon initial necklace.

Dad: omg, I dont’ know. hahaha. I have several things ‘favorited’ on my computer but can’t seem to find the ‘perfect’ one.

FI’s dad and stepmom: Probably a gift card to go out to eat with us (we do this every year and they always say they like it) and little odds and ends. His family is hard to buy for.

Last year I gave my mom a digital photo frame with lots of pictures of the family already loaded onto it.  She loved it and keeps it on in the living room all the time.

My mother has had the same handheld mixer in her kitchen since before I was born.  It is held together with duct tape and you have to hold it at just the right angle to make it work.  Definitely getting her a new one!

Hmm, I’ll definitely keep an eye on this for ideas!

His dad always wants ‘time’ from us, what a sap! So we usually make up some certificate or something on the computer saying it’s good for a dinner with us, and he likes that. Seriously, that’s all he ever wants – birthdays, Christmas, Father’s Day… too funny!

My parents I have no idea… last year I got them a gift card for the nordic spa near us, which they loved. I will need to get some ideas!

Hi mom wants hiking poles, workout clothes, or pandora beads for her bracelet, so that should be pretty easy!

My brother and I are going in on paying for a family portrait session. My mom has wanted to do it forever. The last actual family portrait that was taken was before I was born. :

I just decided to save our money and just get presents for my son and Fiance. =/ Were pintching pennies as it is. I’m still a little sad I can’t afford much for my grandparents but I think I’m going to make them something and mail them a nice card even though I see them a few times a week. I don’t know my dad and my mom is a whole other story but I won’t be getting her anything.

Both of our Dads haven’t been a part of our lives for years so we just have our Moms to get gifts for.

My Mom wants a waffle maker like the one my Darling Husband and I recently got so I will probably get her that.

My Darling Husband is very artistic so he plans to make his Mom a wooden decorative sign for her house with one of her favorite movie quotes on it.

I plan on making both of our Moms some apple butter and chocolate syrup as well. We are mostly going the DIY route this year cuz we just got married in October and are really strapped for cash since we got the wedding to pay off.

My mom: Kindle, $25 GC to Amazon for a few books, fleecy jacket, a vintage Santa box (she collects vintage Santa crap) & framed pictures from our wedding.

My dad: GC to Lowes, pajama pants, framed picture from our wedding and a treat bucket (funky bucket filled with all of his favorite goodies).

My IL’s are hopefully getting an iPad to share (if we can find an affordable first gen). My Mother-In-Law will also be getting a DIY etched pyrex dish (I’m etching last names onto Pyrex dishes for gifts for most of the women in our families). They’ll both get some framed pics  as well as a small photo book from our wedding.

ETA: Oh, I forgot, I also ordered my mom a Contigo air tight travel coffee mug and some k-cups. We got her the Keurig last year for her bday but she only uses the ground coffee because she thinks the k-cups are too expensive.
