I had 2 showers – one was more formal and one was more laid back. For the first one (which was thrown by my 5 aunts) I got them each a box of herbal tea, Ghiradelli chocolates (my aunts love chocolate), and a candle from Yankee candle company. For the second, I got my FMIl and FI’s cousin each a bottle of wine and a book I thought they’d like. I spent about $15-20 on each.

I am having  two showers also. I do not know a lot about either of them, but I think they will both be catered and very nice. My sister (MOH) is hosting, but it’s at my grandma’s and I know she has helped ALOT. The other one is hosted by my Future Mother-In-Law and Future Sister-In-Law. I got them $30 work of Bath and Body Works items each. I might also get my Future Mother-In-Law flowers. I am currently splitting my week between two cities while i finish school (my fiance goes to a school about 2 hours away and I am there every weekend). I stay with my Grandma (this is where my sister lives too) and we go to lunch every wednesday, so I might get a gift card to a nice restaurant that we can go to for our weekly lunch and a box of very nice chocolates for a local shop. I know neither of them even want/expect anything so this would be a nice little suprise.

I got each of my three hostesses a $60 gift card to one of their favorite spas.  I originally planned on getting them items from Bath and Body Works, but after I realized they were spending a considerable amount on the shower AND getting me a couple of the higher priced items off of my registry, I decided to spend more and thought that’d be the perfect gift for relaxing after all of their hard work.

Oh god, I didn’t even realise this was a thing. Am I supposed to have something to give them at the shower itself (which is tomorrow!)? Or can I send them a thank you card and a present later?

@sm_usagi:  I gave mine to them the day of, but I think that you can give them something afterwords and it will be fine!
