I know it’s a little early, but I like to start my shopping around the first of November. My question is what are you getting your SO for Christmas? Are you setting a spending cap?
I’m seriously considering buying my husband a new TV. We have the old and equally huge boxy TV in our livingroom, and we’re both sick of it! I told my husband we’re setting a spendig cap of $100, because I don’t want him to spend a ton on me since this TV will really be for all of us. We’re getting our 3 year old a power wheels…
Should be a fun Christmas!
This is the old school TV we have now..

I purchased him tickets to a hockey game (Pittsburgh Penguins vs Carolina Hurricanes.) I am still going to buy him some little things too.

We are working on buying a house and planning the wedding, so I think it’s going to be an inexpensive Christmas. We will be driving to NC to spend Christmas with my family, so I will probably just get him a couple of DVD’s and maybe some clothes. Even though we won’t be spending much, I love giving gifts so I know I will have a hard time not buying things for him!
P.S. I am so excited for Christmas!!

I’m debating. He’s been obsessing over the ipad since it came out, but now he keeps talking about android tablets and I have no clue what he’s actually interested in now. He may just get clothes. ha.

I bought him tickets to see Kevin Hart, and I’m buying him two suits.

im getting him a tempur-pedic pillow. he’s been whining that he wants one for two years, but will never buy it for himself, and instead whines that he hates the pillows we have and tries to steal mine. i can’t believe im going to spend like $160 on a pillow.

I have NO idea. Fiance is the type that when he wants something, he just buys it for himself which makes it VERY hard to get him anything for Christmas.
He liked the “beer of the month” club when I got it for him a few years ago… so maybe I’ll do that again.

Hoping we can take a vacation together since we both have the week between Christmas and New Year’s off and we are long distance. That will be our gift to each other 🙂

I was going to do the iPad thing but now I think we’re both trying to spend less this christmas.
all he tells me he wants is hunting stuff. Which is totally boring to shop for but whatever.

A new xbox, a wacom bamboo drawing pad, and a zebra print snuggie (it’s a joke. lol) and a new TV.

@Miss Tattoo: Haha! Love the Zebra print Snuggie… Maybe I should get Fiance a Jets snuggie to go with his Jets hat… That could be fun.

blondeeebuckeye I am getting my husband one of these pillows too as he complains as well. Crazy how pricey they are, he better not complain once he has one…tee hee.
I am also getting him some new jeans, and shoes (boring I know, but he needs)

Fiance and I have been on kind of a spending hiatus this year as we’re saving for the wedding and there are some things he really NEEDS that I think I might get him (although I’m debating because it seems boring to get him “needs” instead of fun stuff). But anyways:
– A new travel coffee mug. He hates the ones we have
– A new briefcase. The strap on his broke. And then one of the two front clasps broke. So now it looks really stupid and he has to carry it funny and its going to break totally any day now.
– New button down Banana Republic shirts (his fav– but he’s gotten holes in like 3 of them this fall, argh!) and maybe a sweater or two.
