I’m sure there have been threads started already, but I struggle every year because my DH’s birthday is on Christmas Eve so I have to think of everything at once!
What are you getting your SO’s this year?

Ryansgirl: #1 that suckssss!!! for him, for his whole life, and now for you since you gotta buy all his yearly gifts at the same time!
Fiance and I decided to buy each other tennis shoes for christmas. its practical, and fairly priced. a good plan for us since we’re constantly saving for the wedding
Every year I get him the annual Lenox snowflake ornament, so that is almost a given. We’re keeping it low budget this year since we’re paying for a home, a weddingm and a honeymoon in a 6 month period, so I got him a couple cool tshirts.
Previous years with a higher budget I’ve done tickets to see his favorite comedian, and last year I got him a big, high-tech gaming monitor he lovingly calls the command center.
theEguarantee: lol, he doesn’t seem to care as much now, but he says as a kid it sucked getting a combined birthday/Christmas gift #firstworldproblems Our families do a good job of celebrating his birthday separetely, even wrapping with birthday paper and having a cake. But I always have to start thinking early about what to get him!
That’s a great idea!! I love practical gifts!
xstitchbride425: I’m going to google what a Lenox snowflake ornament is! Good idea with tickets to a show though!
Oh gosh, I’m so conflicted over what I’ll be giving him! I’m really tempted between either a pair of gray, wing-tipped shoes, or a really nice leather satchel, both of which he’s been pining over for awhile now. Or, I might get him a nice shaving kit from the Art of Shaving store, since he always has to look at them every time we go to the mall and I know if he had the funds he’d love to get a kit for each of his groomsmen cause he likes them that much. How I wish I could get him all three!
Aside from the “big” gift, I’d also like to get him a couple smaller, less expensive gifts as well. I’m still unsure as to what though. I was thinking a super soft fleece blanket since he’s also weirdly obsessed with them and for some reason doesn’t have one of his own, and something to do with Princess Jasmine since she’s his favorite, but I can’t really find much that isn’t overly cheesy or childish.
jenilynevette: Nice, what kind? My Darling Husband bought me an acustic a few years ago that I named Woody…lol
Darling Husband uses my stuff ALL the time, so over the year I’ve been buying back ups to give him at xmas. He always steals my giant coffee mug, so I got him his own. He always takes my blow dryer and uses it in his bathroom! So I got him his own. He’s always trying to take my memory foam pillow like I won’t notice, so I got him one of those. But, the big suprise will be a Go Pro camera that he’s been talking about forever.
TwinkleBoss: Okay first…SO adorable that his favourite is Princess Jasmine! Your husband sounds awesome, based on the things you want to get him hahah.
texaslemon: lol, yeah that should be good enough for all of us right?
Ryansgirl: My Fiance is obsessed with these. http://www.colehaan.com/mens-shoes-1
depending on the color they actually don’t look weird and he says they are the comfiest shoes he owns (minus actual tennishoes, of course)

Ryansgirl: this is this year’s style. It’s something I started the year we got together, so this will be his 4th one. I decided on tickets because he said he wanted me for Christmas. So, I gave him an experience with me 😉
FutureDrAtkins: lol!! Sounds like all awesome gifts he will use!
texaslemon: lol well it’s tradition. We both agreed, though, that we’d rather have one last year of spoiling the family and cut back on each other. We’re concentrating on the parents since mine helped with the wedding and his contributed to the house.
No idea! We just got married, and are doing our honeymoon in February… so we could spend any extra money on that, or put it into our savings account.
But, that might change between now and then! I may get him some new “going out” shirts that he really likes and a few other small things.
