No fricking idea (suggestions very welcome) I will get him the usual jumper / shirt / pants / socks combo but I need a good idea for something from our son and for his ‘main’ present.

I’m getting my husband a mount to attach his phone to his bike handlebars – he does quite a lot of cycling and is forever having to stop and pull his phone out to check directions.  I need to get him something else too but I’m a bit stuck.  Possibly a book or two.

Sonos! We bought a house this past year and we need a few more speakers vs. our old apartment set-up.

I’m getting him AirPods. Now that he bikes, it’ll be best for him to have AirPods so he can get places. Idk what else. Probably socks and underwear because he forever is asking for it.

brideandblue :  Most likely dress socks (hes always running low), sweater, and a box of the hickory farms summer sausage sets he loves (that’s the expensive part). We’re both in school, on a budget, and most likely moving in 6 months so we agreed to keep it simple this year. It’s also very difficult to buy him expensive things because he usually buys them himself if the need arises.

He asked for new lined leather driving gloves, so he’s getting a pair. Plus a video game, a hat, and some clothes.

He is hard to shop for and doesn’t really like getting gifts. Plus, our baby is due right after Christmas, so we are sticking to a tighter holiday budget than usual.

We are not getting eachother gifts because we are just going to split the price of a mattress and call it our Chrismas gift haha I’ll probably still get him something small and fill up his stocking but I’m not really sure what. Our spare bedroom is now turned into his little man cave so I’ll probably get something for that. I’ve been eyeing that Michael Scott “that’s what she said” poster for a while now and I think I might get that to hang up back there because we both have had The Office” on a loop since we started dating 2.5 years ago. He also need a new Xbox controller so he might end up getting one of those. Christmas is always so hard!

We tend to exchange experiences.  We get enough gifts from my side of the family. So this year I’m getting him tickets to a hockey game and a play he really wants to see. Pre game dinners are included as well!!

I’m stumped this year so I’ll be following. Usually I do experience stuff. Last year he got Foo fighters concert tickets. This year I’ve already picked up the new Beastie Boys autobiography book for him and was shocked when it came from Amazon that it was as thick as a dictionary. I also got one of those baby foot peels as he’s been dying to try one and the amope nail file for his stocking. His feet take a beating in his work boots.

i need to come up with something as he just paid for my Backstreet Boys ticket as my Christmas present.

I am getting him a retro games console that he had as a kid and some (budget) wireless headphones. He has got me a trip to Rome, but I sadly cant afford anything on that level as a gift for him. 🙁

Last night we decided we would plan a vacation together, rather than exchange gifts. He’s out of town but we’ll start figuring it out once he’s back. I’ll probably still get him some little things like socks and undies.

I bught him a Star Wars Advent calendar, socks (he is super excited for those lol), and a Samus Aran figurine. We were going to buy a new couch, but that didn’t happen.
