I think we’ll do a “family gift” and get a speaker system for our first floor. I’ll probably get him some new shirts too, as he is always needing those.

I got him a home teeth whitening kit  that had AMAZING reviews  and that hooks up to cell phone via USB (https://www.trysnow.com/?afmc=10w&utm_campaign=10w&utm_source=leaddyno&utm_medium=affiliate&fbclid=IwAR20159oupAm3dMXP2QA3WHPwcbQLUpUp3eCFbvupb8EGGEA8sx_JoqXVJQ use code GRONK for 25% off), Calvin Klein and DKNY boxer briefs on sale from Saks off 5th and Nordstrom Rack ( I love those places), pajamas, a funny book on Jewish humor (he’s Jewish), a card game for people who love to argue  called Debatable, and a Star Wars Vitruvian Boba Fett tshirt.

We usually don’t exchange gifts and put money aside in a joint fund for vacations every month instead, but I felt like spoiling him a bit this year

I’m stumped this year. We’ve agreed not to spend much because we’re doimg a huge home renovation, but I want to get him something good because he works so hard! So hard to buy for.

But I am getting him a new small human, just slightly later than Christmas. Better late than never ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผ‍โ™€๏ธ

I think I’m going to get my fiancé the ancestry DNA thing. He isn’t quite sure about where his family originated from and I guess his parents don’t know either. My mom got me one a few years back and I think it’s pretty neat.

This year we’re mostly skipping gifts because we leave right after Christmas for a 3 week (very belated) honeymoon. Buuut i may sneak him a kindle for the trip.

Normally we do one big gift and then a couple little things. little things are usually inside joke type things or things we’re nerds about – books, novelty socks, ninja turtle/harry potter mugs, records, DVDs etc.  Big things are often things we really want but wouldn’t buy for ourselves – Watch, nice jacket, snowboard, nice backpack/bag etc.

Cross country skis. We just moved from somewhere that gets no snow, to somewhere that gets a lot of snow, and he’s been moaning about how it’s too snowy to go for runs. Now he can go out and get some wintery exercise, and hopefully stop moping about the house!

A baby! ๐Ÿ˜‰ In all seriousness though, I asked him if there was anything he’s been thinking of and he said that he just wants a healthy and smooth delivery since I’ll be ready to pop at that point at almost 39 weeks. I’ll probably pick up some of his favorite treats and have them available just for him, since he’s been so careful not to eat anything I might be wanting during pregnancy! His favorite cookies, snacks, wine, etc, and arrange it in a nice big gift basket with the promise that I won’t touch a thing.  We’re going to be staying in just the two of us for the first and last time this year, so I’ll probably try and make it all cozy and snuggly.

We are getting married December 15th so our vacation is sort of our christmas treat. I got him an Xbox for his birthday so maybe I’ll slurge and get him a golf club or something he would like? The hockey game tickets someone mentioned earlier is a good idea I might steal ๐Ÿ˜‰

My husband wants some fancy universal remote ๐Ÿ™„ okay, grandpa. I have to think of something else for him, maybe a fire pit. We’re taking a trip to DC in December and it’s our first trip without our son so that’s a present to us both as well.

brideandblue :  I already did all my Christmas shopping for my SO (I think lol) and I’ve started shopping for our children. Can you tell I love Christmas? ๐Ÿ˜‚

I got my SO a nice blanket from pottery barn (with monogram) because the kids always steal our throw blankets lol. I also got her the Pimple Pete game because she is obsessed with popping pimples (ew!). And I got her the Cuisinart coffee center, along with some K cups and a K cup storage drawer. I’m thinking about getting her a nice purse too cause hers is falling apart, and if so I’ll get her a matching wallet ๐Ÿ˜
