My Fiance wants Michael Jackson: The Experience for the wii. He is jealous of my copy. He will get that and some girl scout cookies.

My Fiance and I only made a big deal of Valentine’s the first few years we were together (been together 5 years), now a cute card & our favorite candy gets the job done… although it IS the first V-Day we’ve been engaged, so maybe I’m unprepared this year 🙂 If he has everything, maybe take him out to dinner @ his fave restaurant or get tickets to something you guys can go DO together…

Hubs just got a new job where they provided a laptop, so he needed something to carry it in that was work appropriate and manly.  So, I got him a North Face backpack.  We’re going to go out for dinner and drinks on Saturday.

I am thinking of getting FH an interior truck cleaning.  He bought a brand new truck last year and it’s his pride and joy!  The one time that he let out dogs in they ended up spilling coffee on the drivers seat and the spot has been bugging him ever since. It’s not super romantic but something that he will love.

I can’t decide either.  I don’t know why, but I feel some pressure to make our first married Valentine’s day extra special.  I have a few things planned, but still am looking for something else.

So far, I’m cooking dinner (which I rarely do),  I’m making meatloaf (one of his faves) in the shape of a heart.  Cheesy yes, but he likes little cheesy things like that.

The other thing I’ve got is a temporary personalized tattoo.  Neither of us have tattoos and as I’m very conservative, it will be quite a surprise for him.  The tattoo is a heart with his name on it (only $4!) and I will put it somewhere where only he will find it.

V-day is 2 days after my wedding day! and 3 days before FI’s bday – i got him some coca-cola glasses (he loves coke) filled with his favorite candies – but we will be lying in the sun in jamaica..he really really wants to go scuba diving, but im terrified of the ocean. i may just have to do it for him….

Every year I have gotten him some sort of framed art/drawing. While it doesn’t sound too exciting, it gives me an excuse to get some art for the house, and I always try to get something sentimental or something personal. This year I’m making a little illustration with a tandem bike, our names and our wedding date.

It’s our 7 year dating anniversary.

He really wanted an alcohol prescription from the 1920s (prohibition) so I found one for him. I will also pay to get it framed.

I’m thinking I’ll also get him a bottle of nice scotch to go along with his prescription.

My Fiance is not the materialistic type- unlike me, he does not have a list of things in his head that he wants but doesn’t feel right buying for himself, lol.  So I usually buy him 2 tickets for an activity. For Christmas I got him great concert tickets and for Valentine’s Day I got him two tickets for fly-fishing with a local guide.  They were on Groupon, and that’s how I could afford them (we love Groupon!).  We took a fly-fishing lesson a year ago and we both love fishing so I’m sure he’ll love it. It’s kind of a selfish gift though because I know he’ll take me :o)

I’m gonna handmake him chocolates, and I got him a new swiss army knife (btw why are there SO MANY types?!) since he lost his old one. He loved that thing.
