Sister: A Painted Lady cake stand, sheets that have inspirational wording, gift card to nail salon she likes, gift card to make up store she shops at, pj pants and an Edible Cookie Bouquet book. I think I want to get her a little something else…probably a cute turtle figurine.

Mom: 3 generation picture frame with sweet saying (of myself and my sister, her and then my grandmother), this little 3 tiered lily pad jewelry holder, a credit card sized bottle opener, pj pants, a coat and a scarf, booties and snowman place mats (I’m giving those to her before Christmas so she can use them)

Dad: Anaheim Ducks jersey(for his birthday right after Christmas, we’re going to get the jersey personalized), magnetic wristband (conveniently holds screws, nails, bolts, etc) and a “perfectly useless book” of trivia

Uncle: A set of Oakland Raiders drinking glasses and $50 gift card to Lidz (a hat store)

Brother: An Anaheim Angels keychain bottle opener, the movie “Grandma’s Boy” and $50 to JCP (or someplace similar)

Future Mother-In-Law: slippers, a purple mug (she requested a new one) and we’re going to personalize her Anaheim Ducks jersey as well

Sister’s boyfriend: this gadget charger that goes in the car that can charge numerous things at once

FH: new 160gb iPod classic, an Anaheim Ducks shirt, an Anaheim Ducks license plate frame, an Anaheim Ducks daily desk calendar, a fileting knife set (for when he goes fishing), a portable DVD player and Simpsons boxers

I like http://www.redenvelope.com and http://www.lakeside.com for online shopping.

We’re giving everyone except our parents baked goods this year. I don’t know what we’re getting his parents or my dad yet, but my mom and my step-dad are getting the Settlers of Catan board game. We played it with them this weekend and they (surprisingly) loved it! They’re totally not board game people, so I was surprised that they agreed to play AND that they enjoyed it. In fact, I had to stop my step-dad from ordering it online telling him that you can’t buy gifts for yourself starting in November. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@pamplemousse: Yea, I got it. I bought it with a bunch of other things, and got 20% off. Plus two of the items shipped about a week later than promised, so they refunded 100% of the shipping– I was excited!

Good job on finding such a great deal!

i only have my nieces (i’ll be getting them clothes) and my mom (going in with my sisters for a cordless drill. a little random, i know) set. i have no clue what to gift my sisters, nephew and the mister. my bestie’s hopefully getting some paintings for her nursery (she’s expecting her first kid early next year) and a little something for her.

other than that, i also make a christmas gift basket of tasty goodies every year for my friends and this year i’m making flavored popcorn: pink popcorn (just made this for a baby shower and it was a hit!), caramel, and maybe a apple pie and something else. maybe a savory cheesy popcorn, though my sister is close to talking me into trying a brown butter candied bacon popcorn.

The topic ‘What are you GIFTING this year?’ is closed to new replies.
