I’m planning on giving them a whole bunch…

-brown cardigans because it can still be chilly in May

-pale pink statement necklaces from etsy

-champagne glasses individually decorated for each

-white wayfarers to sheild their eyes from the sun (we’re giving the guys black ones to match)

-unique clutches for each girl

I’m doing an individual gift for each girl that suits their personalities/tastes.  For example I’m giving my Maid/Matron of Honor a beautiful black pearl ring, my little sister/BM an age appropriate (she is 15) mother of pearl heart pendant, another Bridesmaid or Best Man a philosophy gift set (she loves philosophy products), etc.

I am also doing the following (although I don’t consider these gifts but more like nice gestures):

– paying for their hotel room for the night before the wedding

– purchased earrings for them to wear for the wedding

– paying for either hair or makeup, whichever one they want done by my pro hair/makeup person

I gave them designer purses as their main gift

Aside from that I made their day of hair accesories, paid for hotels, dinner and breakfast, and gave them fans as well

@RockStar33:  Did you have other girls attend the bachelorette besides your BM’s?  That’s a really cute idea – giving them something at the bachelorette but I do have other ladies coming aside from BM’s and I don’t know if the other ladies would be offended?

I’m giving my girls all a bottle of their favourite wine, one of those diamond candles and a canvas printed picture of me and each of them. i’m also giving them each a survival kit for the day of, and some flip flops for the reception so they can get out of their heels if they need.

So I’ve been in a lot of weddings before Mine and I really wanted to spoil my girls because i know that usually when your in a wedding party after all the showers and parties you spend around $500-$1000. So this is what i’m doing for them:

1.  Engagement Party Hostess Gift (they offered to throw me one)- Monogramed Lunch Totes from the Knot

2.  Bridal Shower Hostess Gift- Wine Totes from Totes by Charlotte also Monogrammed with Favorite bottle of wine.

3. Bachlorette Hostess Gift (still working on)- I would like to say i have this planned out but i’m trying to do something that goes with the theme and haven’t thought of the right thing yet…tips would be great!

4.  Bridesmaids Gift- Monogrammed Waffle Robe with their names not Bridesmaid or Best Man (so they can wear again), Earrings, Statement Necklace (to be worn on the day), Flip Flops for the day of, Monogramed Canvas Bags with Leather strap from Ballard Designs, and an Engraved Picture Frame, and of course i will be buying them prints from the wedding so they can put at least one of them in the photo frame!!

Last but not least, a thank you note of course! ๐Ÿ™‚

My engagement is going to be about 14 months and i’m in the beggining stages so i mapped this out so i can buy one gift a month slowly and get everything without being too overwhelmed by the cost!

I’m getting them:

-Their necklace/earrings.

-A silk robe for getting ready.

-A hanger with their name in the wire (like from Pinterest).

Plus I’m paying for their hair to get done.  I’m going over my gift budget, but I will skimp elsewhere.

(For kicks, the gm are all getting individualized cufflinks based on personality, for example we have Superman and the Dodge Ram symbol for two of the guys)

@AshleyR83

You should try to get to the Bachlorette Party Early (no idea if your going to a hotel or what you are doing) or plan to do dinner with just the BMs before you go out to give them a gift!! Just a suggestion for logistics on giving the girls your thank you gift!
