Wine is a great idea. My girls LOVE wine.

I’m going to be making the dresses (convertible) and hair accessories, and buying the jewelry and shawls for the day in the 2/$10 3/$15 section at Ardene (they’re fine with it, we’re all kinda in the broke student category). I’ll be providing accomodations too, though I’m hoping daddy might offer to help pay for that, renting a house for my side of the family for the week who will be traveling from Quebec and Ontario to Florida.

I got mine garter flasks with the wedding date on them and in the wedding colors 🙂 Their dresses are short, so they can wear the flasks to the wedding and sneak a pip here and there!
Then I found out my sister was pregnant, so felt kind of bad that her gift would be utterly useless … so I also got them matching necklace and earring sets. The main wedding color is sapphire blue to match the sapphire in my engagement ring, so I got them sapphire necklaces and earrings to tie the whole theme together. I think they’ll like the flasks more though, haha!

I got them a personalized wine glass, bottle of wine, a cute personalized waffle weave robe, I’m decorating a hanger for them for their dresses, and am getting them jewelry for them to wear the day of the wedding. I also asked a friend to come and do their hair and make-up. I really wanted to get them “out of the box” gifts, but everything that I read, nothing just screamed them. So, off to the general catergory I go!!! 🙂

I am paying for their hair as well as giving them engraved compacts for the big day. The front will have their name engraving, and the back will have ” so you can see how beautiful you are today and every day.” With 5 bridesmaids, I really had to stick to a budget, but I’m pretty sure that they will love the gift 🙂

I got them a bag filled with some goodies, a necklace, Bliss lotion and body wash, a robe to get ready in, cityslips ballet flats in silver, a pink nalgene with a heart on it, a monogrammed notepad and a beach towel. I also threw in a pink flask that I had initially bought to give out at my bach party but forgot, woops!
I am also doing a lunch before the rehearsal (rehearsal is at 2:30 and dinner isn’t until 7) as well as paying for their hair and makeup the day of.
They are all flying in so I was trying to do something a little extra

I felt bad that I didn’t give them much of a gift. Everything was wedding related that I “gifted” them. I paid for their dresses, hair and make up, mani pedis the day before, and my mom made them necklaces to wear with their dress.

I got them a subscription to Birchbox. It delivers a cute box to their door each month with random beauty samples.

I love this idea! So unique! 🙂
I thought about getting my bridesmaids a pandora bracelet and adding a yellow bead or two onto it, since my wedding colours are yellow.
A jewelery store near me is closing, and they are having a HUGE sale… including the pandora bracelets. So even though they are expensive, the sale will help! (I have 4 bridesmaids).
I went to the jewelery shop, though, and showed my sister the bracelets (not telling her it was a Bridesmaid or Best Man gift) to see her reaction… she said she doesn’t like them! Boo! Guess there goes that idea!! Haha

i’m giving them a bag filled with goodies that they will need for the day of, and some stuff they can always use.

I got them personalized wine glasses with a caricature of them on it ($30) and then a personalized gift between $40-$60 dollars each. I also paid for most of their hair if they wanted to get it done. They ended up only having to spend $15 on the their hair (I wish I could have covered it all but we run out of money). They weren’t required certain shoes or jewelry, so I skipped that idea. I wish I could have spent more on them because they were so amazing, but I ran out of money so I included a handwritten letter in each of their gifts but how much I appreciated them and the great memories from our friendships together.

I love the shawl and dress color combo! It photographs so well together. Your girls look awesome (and you look incredible too!)(
