I am curious what everyone is giving their bridesmaids as gifts?
My bridesmaids gifts are something I am so very excited about, I am making each one of my girls a full sized blanket (thought about a throw, but went full sized). The blankets I make are so fluffy and comfy. Each blanket will be made of fabric that reminded me of the girl.
I am doing this for my seven bridesmaids and two personal attendants- about 6 hours per blanket so its a huge time commitment but SO worth it. I can NOT wait to give them to my girls!

Wow you have a lot of patients to do that many full sized blankets!
I’m getting the girls totes that I am going to personalize, maybe some make up and/or jewelry. Some picture frames and something totally personal to each girl! One is pregnant, so I’m going to get her some baby clothes and make her some baby shoes! and i’m not 100% sure what I’m getting the other! lol

I’m getting my girls (3 of them) a coach wristlet in one of the wedding colors (I LOVE the outlets!) and possibly a small piece of jewelry that they can wear after the wedding…..I was going to do the tote bag idea BUT my mother stepped in and stole my idea as she has filled tote bags for them for the shower.
I am taking my junior bridesmaid (aka goddaughter) to make her own jewelry about a month before the wedding

I love that you’re making them something that they can cherish forever!
I’m giving my girls a cute, girly flask from etsy (they are pumped about this!), and some sort of jewelry. I like the idea of making them all bracelets/necklaces that they can wear to the wedding and after, but am not sure if I’ll be able to pull this off! I’m also going to do day of kits (a la Miss Lace)! 🙂

My idea right now is to get them custom made charm necklaces from Etsy with cabochon gems. 🙂

- Wedding: September 2010 - Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery
I love the idea of handcrafted blankets! Go you!
I am giving my 8 bridesmaids a two-part gift:
For nights out: Coach wristlet (yay outlets!) and personalized keychain from Etsy
For nights in: Philosophy body wash (in different scent for each girl), bath pouf and eye mask for sleeping.
I hope they like them! I also paid for $30 of their Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses (anything over $150) and will be paying to have their hair done.

The blankets are such a nice and cute idea!
I’m giving my girls cute nylon totes filled with:
— comfy flip flops from Old Navy
— nail polish
— spa lotion, body wash, and hand cream
— personalized luggage tag
— cute handmade necklace (my friend makes awsome jewelry and offered to make them for my girls)
— mini bridesmaid survival kit (gum, mints, water, protein bar, tissues, chapstick)

My gifts were very similar to Ms. Jellyfish’s–
Coach wristlets (from the outlet) w/ mints, chapstick, and a fun nail file
Then I paid for about $20 of each girl’s dress (anything over $150). I paid for them to get their hair done the day of the wedding. Also, I purchased them a necklace/earrings set to go with their dresses.

I’m giving my girls:
Hair combs that match my hair vine(yay Etsy).
Pashminas to keep warm, in case it gets chilly
Hand making them each a custom pair of fairy wings (fun to wear, but they make awesome wall hangings after the fact.
And i’ll probably pay for their hair.
My Man of Honor is getting:
A Tie clip to match my hair vine
And i’m still working on the rest… Seems to me he should get something awesome, and i’m just totally stumped.

My girls are getting a amethyst bezel set necklace, a custom made robe, and a cooler tote bag. (My wedding is in Laguna Beach)
I will also get them all a manicure and pedicure the day before and I am having someone come in to do all of our makeup the day of the wedding.

I got them all necklaces from Kay’s and I made them earrings to match it. I wanted to buy something and make something for them so it was personal.

I have been to 9 weddings or so in the past 2 years, and have been a bridesmaid 3 times and I am pretty sure we have the best idea ever. The bride gives her bridesmaid the dress as a gift! This eliminates the concern about spending ridiculous amounts of money to be a bridesmaid and who doesn’t want a nice dress to keep. The thing I did differently I think was give my maids a dress they actually can wear after!
I decided no matter what color our wedding would be I would get them black dresses. I went to the store “White House Black Market” and got them the cutest Black organza, knee length strapless dress that is timeless and can be worn over and over again. I think it looks classy, sophisticated and who doesn’t look good in black! To incorporate my colors they are having bouquets with white hydrangeas wrapped with tiffany blue ribbon and pearl pins. I am very practical when it comes to weddings and I have hated wearing Silver, pastel pink and funky green in the past. I think I made all 9 bridesmaids happy with this gift. It might not be hand made or personal but I didn’t want them to worry about money and the stress of a dress. I stalked this dress until it went onsale and got a 200 dress for 100 so it wound up being a pretty good deal.
