I realized recently that there are countless things that you can do with your engagement photos. My friend posted all of hers on FB and told me to do that with mine as well. She decided to do nothing else with them.
I realized then that I kind of dont want to post it everywhere. But only because I plan on using one of them on our STD’s and one of them on our (guestbook).Its not however a regular guestbook. I bought a picture frame with a paper white posting board and we plan on putting an engagement picture in the middle and have our guests sign around our picture. After the wedding we plan on then putting a wedding pic in the middle and then hang it in our home.
So because of how we are using our engagement pics, I want them to be a surprise and original when people see the STD’s and see our (guestbook).
After the wedding I plan on posting wedding and engagement photos, just to get them out there so that people can see them all, but before the wedding, no.
SO bees, what are your plans concerning your engagement photos??

We had a large one blown up and then cut it and used it for our place cards at the wedding. We also had a coffee table book made up of it.

@mwitter80: LOVE this! How creative!
We had prints made of our favorites and hung them in the house. Nothing too original here. I did use one for our newspaper engagement announcement and another for our guestbook photo frame at the wedding, which I just swapped out for a wedding picture.

We planning on using them using them for Save-The-Date Cards, guestbook and have one framed as of right now.
@mwitter80: That’s a really cool idea!

We used some on our save the dates, we’ll include one on our invitation, my friend is designing our photo guest book, and we’ve ordered various sizes of prints to hang on the wall/use in our offices.

My parents printed a bunch for their own wall, and I plan on using one of the STD. We will print a bunch for our own wall once the wedding photos are done as I want to match the frames. Thats about it, I posted mine on facebook 🙂

I used them for a couple of different things. I used them in my invites:

I made our guest book out of them, had picaboo print it. (I inserted quotes, and artistically positioned the pictures so it was like a combination of a guest book and a photo album…)

@red_rose: would you happen to have pics of the guest book you made on picaboo? I’m intersted in doing that also.
