The girls will be getting ready at FMIL’s house. I’m trying to figure out what we can eat for lunch/snacks- as I’ve read many brides forget to feed their bridal party- so I want to think ahead! I know I need to get straws to avoid ruining lipstick! What are some good suggestions of things to eat to avoid bad breath, stuff stuck in teeth, sore tummy’s, etc….

We got ready at our hotel and they brought over lunch. It included wraps (turkey, ham, roast beef), small bags of chips, crackers and cheese and fruit. It was perfect!

Hm, I haven’t really thought about it yet, but we’re definitely going to have to have something. Maybe we’ll go out to breakfast that morning and then do something fun for lunch.

We had lunch catered for both groups (me and the girls and Darling Husband and his guys). The girls had bottomless mimosas, bottled soda and water, juices, various tea sandwiches (lobster salad, fancy chicken salad, turkey and gouda & turkey/cranberry concoction), fruit salad, pasta salad, fresh baked muffins & scones, chips and dip. The guys had a few 6 packs of beer, bottled soda and water, various wraps (roast beef, turkey & cheese and Italian with all the sandwich fixings), pasta salad, macaroni salad, chips and dip.

My mother is getting bagels, muffins, fruit, and of course Mimosas for breakfast in the morning. Then later in the afternoon, we’re going to have sandwiches. My only stipulation was that there be no onions!

Fruit, granola, yogurt, cheeses, muffins and bagels around 9 am when we get to my Grandma’s house to get ready. Then before we leave we will probably have a salad, chicken sandwiches and whatever else we may find! My mom will probably make all the tastiness for us.

A good breakfast / hot brunch… something to get me thru the middle portion of my day, until I can eat Dinner with my Hubby post Ceremony.
We are planning to marry mid-Afternoon (2 – 3 o’clock), followed by Photos, then Cocktails, Nibbles and finally Dinner (guessing it’ll be 7 o’clock or so when that happens)

Bringing fruit and yogurt with me. I need something to tide me over but I get food belly easily and my dress is a light silk and lace and cut in a way that WILL show food belly. So something light. 🙂
