I’m not pregnant yet, but I have a couple of names I’d like to incorporate for my future children (most likely middle names, but we’ll see). For a girl, Anne, after my grandmother. For a boy, either William (a reference to my dad- his name is a variation on William) or Allan, after my older brother who passed the previous summer. None of these are the actual first names of the people they honor, however- I like to put my own twist on things.

@VictorianLilac718:  Those are all great! Elodie is just like Melody but without the M. Pretty much how its spelled. Its french lol I really like Irish names because I am Irish (My name is Erynn, which is just a different spelling of Erin) but I have a hard time pronouncing them becuase I didnt grow up with the culture. Fiance is super polish too, so that would be cool, but I havent found any polish names really.

@eeruhlig:

Very unique and lovely. I’ve never heard of that name before. I absolutely LOVE Irish culture. The music. Food. Sigh. Your name is lovely too! It’s hard coming to a decision for baby names. My husband and I didn’t agree many times.

@VictorianLilac718:  Thanks! I just saw it once on a baby name site and I felt instantly connected to it for some reason. I love Irish culture too, I so with that I had grown up with it! Good thing we have a while till its baby making time, maybe he will come around to my name choices 🙂

We are not TTC but have a list of names we love.

For girls we both adore Scarlet and are pretty set on using it for our first daughter. My favourites from our list are Ava and Daisy, while FI-to-be loves Mila (Mee-la) and Indie. We both love Ruby, but we’re not sure if we would want two obviously red meaning names.

For boys we agree on the names Max/Maximus, Jack and Leo, though I love Hudson, Hunter, Harrison and Roman, all of which he does not.

I think middles names will be harder for us once we are expecting, as I really want to use family names and each child will have two middle names, so getting the whole name to flow and not be too much of a mouthful is important. For girls I would like to use May, after my mother, grandmother and great-grandmother as well as Rose (or a form of, such as Rosalie) after his mother and sister. For boys we plan on using Paul, after FI-to-be’s uncle who passed away, James after my father and Mathewson after my grandfather (it was his middle name and is the middle name off all the boys on my mother’s side of the family dating back 8 generations). I would also like to use John as it is FI-to-be’s middle name, though he doesn’t like it.

I have a Rose and a Henry. Our next babies will most likely be Arthur James “Teddy” and Alice Juliette “Ali”. Other names on our list are Benjamin Linus, Samuel Ronan, Vincent Charles, and Theodore Elijah, and Madeline Violet, Charlotte Aurora, Aurelia Blythe, and Daphne Cordelia.

We have a daughter named Sophia Alysse. If we have another daughter she will most likely be name Sienna Rose. We could never agree on boy names when I was pregnant with dd. I’m liking Stephen/Steven for a boy, have to discuss with Fiance. When I was pregnant I had a long list of names & he vetoed 99% of them lol.

Charlotte Michelle: Charlotte we just like, and love the nickname “Charley”, Michelle is my moms name

Josephine Reese: Josephine “Josie” is just a name we like, and Reese is the surname of my favorite aunt and uncle

Boys;

Henry Joseph: Henry is my grandpa’s name, Joseph is my dad’s middle name

Theodore Corcoran: Theodore we just like, Corcoran is BF’s middle name, and his mom’s maiden name

Girl: Well Isabella was my all time favorite girl name, but Twilight ruined that for me. Right now our choices are…

Lillian

Elle

Madeleine

I also love Audrey, but Fiance doesn’t like it and Evelyn (every single person in my family HATES this for some reason, including Fiance. I love it!)

Boy:

Christian

Benjamin

Harrison

If it’s a girl, Phoebe, and if it’s a boy, Phebo.

(A bright shiny star to anyone who gets that reference, hehe!)
