So I know this post has been done before but I thought I would start a new one..
I am grateful for my amazing boyfriend who loves me even when I’m in a bad mood!
I am grateful for my mum being my best friend in the world
I am grateful for my dad’s tumors being non-life threatening
I am grateful for my dog Clyde – he makes me smile even when I hate the world
I am grateful for my friends & family
But most of all I am grateful to be alive!
I have been spending so much time lately worrying about silly things “when will my SO propose” “why haven’t we bought a house yet” “I wish I had a new car” but really when you think about it none of those trivial things matter..
Life is so short, I have come to realise that everyday we get to spend on this earth with the people we love is a great day!
Sorry… I’m feeling all mushy and emotional today it seems 🙂
ETA: Can I also say that I am grateful for Dr Pepper being available in Australia again… I.LOVE.IT!!

I’m feeling pretty sappy myself today…
I am so so so thankful for: My sweet guy who is more patient with me than I thought possible, my mischievous pups, a great career with lots of options, and coffee. Lots of coffee. It’s what keeps me going.

I’m grateful for my God, and how He’s saved me.
I’m grateful to have so many people who love me.
I’m grateful that I’ve found my soulmate in Gunnar.
I’m grateful that I don’t have to go hungry, and that I’m comfortable in life.
I’m grateful for the chance to further my education.
I’m grateful that the people I love are happy and healthy.
Most of all, I think I’m grateful that I have the ability to feel grateful. So many people in the world take everything for granted, and I’m just so glad that I’ve never been like that.

@Brickette: I’m glad to hear the update on your dad! I remember one of your previous threads about him.
I’m grateful that SO and I have a wonderful relationship, a nice house in a great location, stable jobs, and incredibly supportive families. I’m also grateful that Godiva has a free rewards program that gives you a free truffle each month. Oh, and the fact that our Costco has gelato in their food court.

I’m grateful for my mom, even though she’s living across the country right now, we still talk several times a day and she’s my closest confidante.
im grateful for frozen yogurt. Yes, definitely grateful for that.
im grateful for my comfy bed. It only cost me a fortune, But it’s well worth it every time I lay down and feel a little bit of heaven.
im grateful, lastly and most importantly, for my Darling Husband. He is my partner, and he always manages to make me happy with a simple look. He shares in my joy and my pain, and he is my constant in my everchanging life.

@Brickette: Thank goodness! I hope the other stays benign and doesn’t adversely affect his health.
Australia has Costco?? You’ll love it. We get pretty much everything from there. Buying in bulk is a little tricky because we’re short on space, but we save so much in grocery costs and still get to have high-quality food.

I am grateful and thankful for SO. MANY. THINGS.
I recently journaled about this, and creating a new list here likely would take up a great deal of time and space. However, topping my list would be the awesome Lord and God whom I serve — and all of His immeasurable and incomparable attributes as well as the amazing blessings with which He has blessed me: his grace, mercy, forgiveness, salvation, strength, healing, assurance, provision, etc.; my life and health; my wonderful husband; my precious and generous family and friends; my caring church family; my dog; my home; my vehicle; my education; the incredible opportunities I have had in life; the opportunity to encourage others; the opportunity to take vacations; the means to go out to dinner; the beauty of nature, etc… too many things specifically to name here. 🙂
