How many guests at your wedding?  We had 50, and we jotted the seating chart on a napkin for the DOC to handle.. not the best route if you have more guests than that! 😛  We put our people in pods, and when there were leftover people that didn’t easily fit into groups, we plugged them in wherever we felt they’d get along best.

I made a powerpoint poster that was inspired by someone else on here… I forget who, unfortunately. It really fit with our wedding b/c it was in an old 1920’s theater.

I made this once for a friend that got married this summer — they put individual place cards on the table @ each seat, but the poster gave people a heads up about where they were to go.  And an opportunity to see cute pix of the bride and groom as kids!

Check out the tools section of Brides website: http://www.brides.com/tools.  It has a little thing where you can create your own chart and print it out.  We’re using that to assign tables, but leaving individual seats up to the guests.
