We’re going out of town to a concert on Saturday and then staying the night in a B&B, and when we head back we’re going to stop by and see our good friend’s new baby. On the actual day we’ll probably exchange cards and he’ll probably get me flowers. 🙂

I am having eye surgery, and Darling Husband is driving me! So much for romance!

We were originally going to go to a party, but canned that idea and we’re going to a dine in theatre to see Black Panther instead. Very excited!

Probably not too much! I’ll be coming off a 50-hour shift Wednesday afternoon and go back early Thursday morning, so I’m planning to hit up my favorite workout class early that evening and would love nothing more than to sit on the couch with my honey and a glass of wine for a couple hours and maybe some easy/healthy-ish takeout. Not sure either of us will have the energy to make dinner but that would be lovely!

socalgirl1689 : that’s my favorite too. Don’t forget extra sauce! I prefer the raspberry lemon cheesecake.

We’re romantics. SO told me he made reservations at a secret place a couple weeks ago. So dinner and drinks, a little dressed up which I love. He didn’t get me a gift last year but a card and roses and candy after 2 months of dating. Last year I got him a card and an Arby’s gift card that I think he ended up spending on me.
I got him Blade Runner 2049 and a card this year. It’s my birthday in a week so a card and maybe flowers is over the top enough. I’m baking him Buche de Noel since he missed mine at Christmas this year. I plan to color the cream pink so it’s appropriate. Buche de valentines !

Another vote for maybe going to see Black Panther and dinner that weekend, though it would be more of a late anniversary celebration for us since I’m able to get out of the house again. Or we may be bringing home a new baby….it’s a toss up at this point 🙂

sharkey38 : I don’t think I have ordered anything else (entree). Once in a while, when I am not super hungry and just want something light then I would order the Eggroll Sampler which is technically an appetizer. For dessert, if the red velvet cheesecake is not available or the person I am sharing the dessert with doesn’t like red velvet (which is kinda rare), I usually opt for the white chocolate raspberry or the Kahlua Coffee.

We’ve been together just over 2 years and this will be our 3rd Valentine’s Day together. We always love celebrating V Day because we never got to when we were younger and single.
This year because he’s working a late shift and we won’t really get to see each other on the 14th we’ve decided to go out for a romantic dinner together on the 13th instead.
I’m also making him a gift basket as a present of all of his favourite food and things & I’m super excited to give it to him. I’ve also hinted that he can feel free to send me flowers at work on the 14th hehe so fingers crossed!

About twenty minutes ago, I found out Dh has to work late on V Day. So we’re moving the celebration up to tomorrow. We’ll go out for dinner. I already have my Valentines gifts—a set of nude lipsticks from Sephora and liquid eyeshadows from Birchbox.
It is not possible to get Dh a gift that he will like/use/appreciate. It takes months of recon to figure out what personal care items he uses the most and just get him those for major gift giving holidays.
I made a hair appointment for Wednesday, which I am keeping, just because.
And tomorrow,we indulge in a terribly sinful chocolate dessert.
