It’ll be at least another year before we TTC but I’m really looking forward to being a Stay-At-Home Mom (FI is a navy officer and it makes the most sense for us) so I can be free from a 8-5 locked in schedule. I’m excited to have our own little family and finally be a part of mommy groups. I’m at a point in my life where I’m totally ready to move on from being a crazy college kid but most people my age definitely aren’t there yet or anywhere close. It’s hard to find girls that I can identify with now but once I’m a mom there are groups of women everywhere that I can connect with and even if they’re a little older than me we’ll all be at a similar place in life.

Rafissch: i am so looking forward to this next part of my life. I have cousins and my SIL who all have kids but no friends except for one and she lives in another state. I am close with my in laws and having a baby will only bring us closer, more weekends together doing kiddy things.

halfling: yessss to Disney!!!! I promised myself I won’t be bringing baby until they are at least 3 or 4 because I feel that anytime before that its too young, I want them to really enjoy andddd it gives me more time to save for it because its astronomically expensive!!! And they don’t give a discount!!! Lol
TaurianDoll: I will note that down (take videos) – I always wanted at least 2 kids but now that I am going through the motions, I am in no rush for baby # 2, lets see how it goes with one lol but I am going to keep my mind open.

My family is really big into hunting and we own several properties. My dad owns a deer hunting property and my grandmother (formerly my grandfather’s) has a duck hunting property. I remember growing up learning about guns, how to shoot, sitting in a deer/duck blind with my dad, brother, cousins, aunts and uncles when we were little (about 4 or 5). Those memories were so much fun! I can’t wait until my son is old enough to share those moments with my dad and brother.
I’m also a huge Ole Miss fan and alum so it’ll be a lot of fun taking him to my college stomping grounds in Mississippi. There’s seriously so much to look forward to. Lots of little things too but these are the ones I’ve been thinking about the most here recently.

Daizy914: I’m so excited that our little one will be here just before Thanksgiving. Can’t wait to celebrate holidays with our baby, get in lots of snuggles over my winter maternity leave and watch baby grow and learn. Excited for all the family activities and showing baby the places we love like the zoo and eventually the beach!
