@miss.wiggums:  I’m already married, but the thing I was most excited about was my kitchenaid mixer! It certainly hasn’t disappointed me in the last 2 years! πŸ™‚

DEFINITELY a kitchen aid mixer! It’s a bit of a tradition in my family for the aunts to chip in and purchase one for every bride-to-be.

@miss.wiggums:  I really hope someone buys us a steam mop and vacuum. We need it so bad.

As far as bonus stuff probably the Kitchen Aid Mixer too. Ha!

@miss.wiggums:  Okay so theres a few…. my shower is in 2 weeks πŸ™‚

Salt and Pepper Shaker I know tihs is stupid, but we broke ours so we have to try and hold the top on while using the salt shaker so I am SO HOPING someone gets it for us

PILLOWS We actually got the pillows already (Person wanted us to pick up from store due to the size) as they’re kind sized and the Sealy “wont go flat” so they’re massive and SO COMFY. I admit to using them while they’re still in the plastic bag for now. We’ve used the $6 budget pillows or pillows that are older than we are. So excited when I can take them out of the bag!!!!

And I already have a kitchenaid so not so excited about that, but I”m also really excited to see what we get thats not on the registry, one of FI’s cousins that’s visiting but wont be at the wedding gifted us crystal liqure glasses that are stunning!! but we never would have asked for.

Keurig! I’m so tired of my little mini drip coffee pot!

Also, the KitchenAid mixer DUH, and I’m actually excited about all our serveware/entertaining stuff. I’m so excited to be able to have friends over for dinner and not have to use our mismatched college plates and silverware! lol

@miss.wiggums:  My waffle maker πŸ™‚ It’s ridiculous to have one, and I’d never buy it for myself. But I do hope someone else buys it for us!

The kitchen aid mixer seems to be the standard wedding gift, but I really hate them. I sure hope I do not get one. Fiance even asked if I was adding one and I said, NO! lol

@BoxerLady:  I’m also not adding one.  I just hate how much space they use up.  I’d rather just use my hand mixer.  However, I am dying to get the food processor that we registered for.  Complete with dough attachments and takes up less space than the Kitchenaid.

@BoxerLady:  What do you hate about them? I’m just asking because I was thinking about purchasing one, but I can’t really justify the cost unless it’s going to be super, super useful.

I’m already married too, but my favorite gift was the large set of Le Creuset that we received from a very generous aunt and uncle! They also gifted us a stainless steel toaster, set of bamboo trivets, and French wood salt and pepper mill. So wonderful!

I’m so excited to get an ice cream/sorbet maker! We borrowed one from a friend last year and it was so fun! I also have a kitchenaid mixer on the registry and know my bff’s mom is buying it for me, so I’m pretty excited about that!!!

@miss.wiggums:  I got a Keurig at my shower this past weekend! It was definitely the item I was looking forward to most! I’ve drank so many hot drinks already just to try out different flavors!

@BoxerLady:  I thought a waffle mixer was ridiculous to register for so we didn’t. My grandparents got us one for Christmas and we have used it every single weekend since!

@Elky:  We got salt and pepper shakers at my shower and I was ridiculously excited as well. We didn’t even have shakers so we were just trying to pour right out of the original containers!

@QueenOfSerendip:  They take up a ton of space, are not fun to clean, and I didn’t find it mixed the dough very well (and not a lot of dough fit inside…maybe there are different sizes, but I can’t imagine the damn thing getting any bigger). This woman I used to baby-sit for in high school always insisted I use it when I baked with the kids, so I grew very resentful of the thing.

Maybe they have improved the awkward design since I was in high school…It was awhile ago, I admit πŸ˜›

Le Creuset is great to be excited about–I bought an iron ceramic one on closeout at Whole Foods a few years back, and use it for everything!  So easy to clean and such even heating.

LOL we need a salt and pepper shaker too, but can’t agree on which one (FI is fussy).

We’re pretty stocked kitchen-wise but connected with a local dealer and suggested that people chip in towards a Green Egg grill.  I hope we can get it!

Also put on the registry two charging packs for micro-USB devices (basically battery-based chargers) as we camp regularly; for our cellphones.

I’m kind of scared about what people might get us off the registry–kissing dolphin statues, etc.
