Not really fancy… but for the main I’m doing crispy duck. Sides are asparagus in butter with sliced almonds, a pear, walnut, stilton and honey salad, a possible other green salad, and fresh bread. Dessert is raspberry and banana muffins with cream.
So fatty and calorific… but om nom nom…
… and this is why I weigh about as much as a small truck. That said, I never usually have dessert, so…

Gooodness everyones dinners sound AH-MAZ-ING!!!! So we decided to get a little crazy and try to make sushi! It’s my favorite food ever and I have never made it at home. I went to a little Asian Marketplace around the corner from my office and got the sushi rice, nori sheets, rolling mats etc.. If it doesnt turn out we will just get takeout from our favorite sushi place but I thougt it would be fun to try! Wish me luck!

@Meggiemae14: We’re probably ordering pizza and wings because we hate going out to fight the crowds on V-Day.

For once, I am not cooking. DH says he wants to cook for me tonight or take me out 🙂 He was supposed to have to work tonight, but work got cancelled. We don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, but I think since our first as a married couple he wants to make it special 🙂 Yay! Can’t wait!

-French onion soup
-Chicken popper pinwheels (chicken rolled/stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar, bacon and jalapenos, breaded and baked), with baby dill roasted potatoes and peas, and garlic butter lobster tails
-cheesecake stuffed strawberries.
That WAS the menu, but I woke up this morning with a kidney infection, so we might just order a pizza and call it a night.

I know it’s not fancy but we will be having Big Macs and ice cream by candlelight. Same as our very first year together when we were flat broke and our power was out.

Aw that’s awesome!! I’m getting DH a Treatzza Pizza (assuming they still make them!) for dessert tonight because it’s a fave from when we were students.
For dinner we are making a roast, with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, gravy and some other vegetable.
