I am not. We are having a large chalk board with a large painted frame with the names of the people and their roles on an easel.  Nothing printed

@kate169:  I think that would look great.  I’m doing regular cardstock as I know most people will throw them away or leave them behind anyway.

@kate169: We are trying to cut down on paper waste. No RSVP cards (online or calling), canvas bags for Out of Town bags so I figured this was the next step.   Thanks 🙂

I think the fanciness comes from the layout and typestyle choice.  Any kind of cardstock would work well as the cover.  Just remember to do a test print at home if you’re looking at super textured or metallic stocks, as these can be trickier.  I think I’m going to end up using kraft cardstock for the cover, and natural white text weight stock for the interior.

I soo would love to just have a chalkboard and be able to save paper on programs, but lugging a huge heavy chalkboard to our venue, along with all the other stuff we’re bringing, just isn’t feasable.

We used kraft cardstock.
