So many options. You could do personalized M&Ms, jordan almonds, hershey kisses and hugs!

latinabee :  We honestly aren’t doing favor boxes or favors of any kind. We’ve been to 8 or so weddings in the last 2 years and of the ones that had favors we either didn’t take or tossed them as soon as we got home. We asked Fi’s BFF about the favors they had, and they had more than half left and are still trying to get rid of them more than a year later.

whoami :  Think we’ll skip favors for this very reason.

latinabee :  Chocolates are a nice idea. I personally wouldn’t eat them but I’m not much of a candy person and generally chocolate is a safe bet for favors.

I used a scoreboard and custom made small favor boxes to fit EGG TARTS! My FH and I both love those little yellow pastries. Our kosher and vegan guests will be missing out.

tenshinchan :  So you’re knowingly picking a favor that some of your guests won’t be able to enjoy?

This was another issue for me with favors. Its nearly impossible to please everyone so there will ultimately be waste. Picking what I like, which I nearly did until posting about it here, means nothing if my guests have no use for it.

We did keyring bottle openers with our names and wedding day embossed on them. We went through vistaprint and I think we paid $75 (including shopping) for 40 of them. We wanted something useful, unusual and personal.

latinabee :  Get something you like and that lasts quite a bit, so if guests leave them, you can bring them home and enjoy them!

We are doing envelops and putting scratch off tickets inside.  The outside of the envelope will read “For Richer & For Poorer”.  FI likes to gamble so its fitting.
