The Green Rider series by Kristen Britain and The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss are some of my all-time favorite books.

I’m a very avid reader as well, though I seem to find less time for it lately. I just finished “Flow my tears, the policeman said”, by Philip K. Dick. It was a quick, easy, very entertaining read. I’ve enjoyed all the PKD books I’ve read.

I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes which was so beautiful and the follow up, After You (also surprisingly good for a follow up).

I LOVE all of JK Rowlings adult lit books : A Casual Vacancy and her Cormoro Strike series.

I loved the Outlander Series (Fantasy/Historical Fiction/Romance)

Anything by Liane Moriarty is great, especially:

-What Alice Forgot

-Big Little Lies

-The Husband’s Secret

These would all make great book club books.

I also read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes receently, it was amazing!! Couldnt put it down.

ahartig :  Polished off these books within the last 2 months because they were amazing, suspenseful and super easy reads too!

1) ‘She’s Not There’ – Joy Fielding

2) ‘The Widow’ – Fiona Barton

3) ‘Luckiest Girl Alive’ – Jessica Knoll

4) ‘What Alice Forgot’ – Lianne Moriarty

Let me know what you think! 🙂

I just listened to The Girl With All The Gifts (MJ Carey) on Audible. I loved it. It’s a post apocalyptic zombie story, but a good one. You actually get detail about the virus (it’s origin and what not) – something I always find lacking in others.

I’m currently reading Red Rising (Pierce Brown). It’s got a Hunger Games vibe to it, but more mature. (Not quite as YA.)

I love YA and recommend the Forest of Hands and Teeth (Carrie Ryan).

ahartig :  Based on your previously read books, I recommend The Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima.  Those are pretty good.  I just finished her new book, “Flamecaster”, which is the first book of a new series called The Shattered Realms, which takes place in the same world as Seven Realms.  Very fantasy/sci-fi.

I am currently reading “The Cursed Child”.  One of my favorite classics is “Middlesex” by Jeffrey Eugenides.  I highly recommend reading it.

minimalistbride :  I read that too (which they are now making a movie out of!), I was very… I don’t know I just couldn’t accept it haha. Still annoyed by it!

ahartig :  I recently read “Girl on the train” which was okay, it’s pretty twisty, but entertaining enough to stay up way too late reading. Have you read Jane Eyre? That’s probably my favorite that I read about once a year.

P.S. They are turning both of the above books into movies, I loathe that. One sure-fire way to kill a good book!
