I just wore undies and a slip.  My top had enough support built into it.  And you will want to change into something sexy for the night if you plan on having sexy time, I was so sweaty and gross at the end of the day.

I’m wearing a white strapless bra and really cute but comfy undies: they’re blue boyshorts with little white polka dots – my something blue. 🙂

I bought a lacey long line boned bra at a specialty shop last week (I am a 36E) – I am having bra regret now.  I just ordered a steel boned corset from the UK that is guaranteed or my money back to shrink me up to 4 inches in the waist.

I need to squeeze another inch somewhere to get the darn dresses (ceremony & reception) to zip up!

I am also going to sport some light spanx underwear.

I wore what made me comfortable. Lacy undies or thongs can actually become a headache under your dress and make you more uncomfortable. I wore comfy panties that said “Bride” (cause I could), my strapless bra, and crinni. Thats it. Oh, and for your sake. Buy spray on antiperperant. It was a lifesaver! They sprayed it all over my body and I didn’t sweat one bit and I was in a ballgown in the middle of July in Texas… He will thank you for not smelling like sweat. And if he doesn’t, you will.

@Anxiouspeanut: I never wear panty hose.  It would probably be too hot for you to wear it under your dress even though it’s winter when you get married.

@Anxiouspeanut: I was able to have bare legs because of the antipersperant. Otherwise, I have heard bike shorts help. In the end, Mr. Hedgie was so happy to be alone with his wife on our wedding night he had fun undressing me from my wedding dress, laying on the bed for a few minutes to cool down and talk about the night, and then we jumped into some fun. I packed some sexy undies but they never left my bag. They didn’t need to. More often than not it seems like women think they need the sexy stuff when really the naked stuff is so much sexier.

It’s a personal choice that no one has the right to dictate for you. What are you most comfortable in, since you’ll be wearing it for several hours?

For me it was a teal thong with “I’m all yours” printed on it in silver 🙂

I had cups sewn into my dress, so no need for a bra, didn’t need a crinoline, and didn’t want to wear pantyhose because I was wearing open-toed shoes.

As someone who gets overheated easily, I was super happy not to have any extra layers under my dress!
