We’re just a large poster with tree full of leaves for our guests to sign. Our theme is lovebirds so it fits and there’s two birds on a branch, names, etc. Our wedding is 2 months out but I haven’t ordered it yet.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but I have asked my brother in law (who is a carpenter) to make us a simple bench for people to sign. After the wedding, he will seal it, and we will keep it in our house!

Also since there will be plenty of space to sign, our guests don’t have to limit their well wishes to a couple of lines.

We are using a frame we found at Bed Bath and Beyond. It has a spot what you can put the picture of you and your husband, a pretty  “I Do” silver attachment, and plenty of space for people to sign and write well wishes.

HisBrownEyedGirl:  We are using the same frame 🙂 it’s adorable!! Did you only purchase one? I’m worried it won’t fit everyone on it.

We’re asking everyone to send a 3×4 piece of fabric with their RSVPS… We’re going to have people sign their fabric, then make a quilt…another cute idea I saw was lay out a calendar with a pen and sign that instructs to fill in bdays and anniversaries…then you’re all set for the next year…won’t forget anyone that way…or signed river rocks…can be displayed in an aquarium or vase or under glass for a coffee table….

We had people sign the mat of a frame. In the middle we put our names and a bunch of well-known movie couples 🙂

We met skiing, we’re getting married at a ski hill, so we’re using antique wooden skis.  The idea is that we’ll eventually put them up in our rec room.

We’re doing a calendar! It serves all kinds of purposes in that we can display our photos, enjoy our guestbook for a full year, and remember everyone’s birthday’s- they’ll just sign their name on their birthdate, and add a comment if they like.

We were originally going to order a calendar from Shutterfly with our engagement photos, but didn’t get them done in time, so we just ended up doing a blank calendar instead. I’m fine with that though, because we’ll just get prints of our wedding photos instead and attach them ourselves! Plus if there aren’t any photos to look through, the guestbook line should move a bit faster.

Jw1724:  Originally I wanted a baseball jersey but the costs are just too much for what we’d wanna spend on the jersey, framing it and not to many would know to stretch the jersey when signing it. Our photographer is suppose to be creating a sign in guest book with our engagement photos as a part of our package so we are going to use that. We already bought a frame for people to sign around but we’ll have to see what turns out for the better. I’ve seen so many cool ideas, just depends on how crafty you wanna be. Whats the vision behind your wedding? My friend did a tea pot set that you can make at a place that does pottery when she got married but her theme was something relating to her hertiage that involved tea. I’ve seen benches, wooden letters in the initials of bride and groom with the & in the middle, painting that people can add finger prints, puzzle pieces, rocks, mad lib papers, wine bottles, records, photos, plates, Log end from a tree, sneakers, maps, scrolls that are later put into a huge jug thats  kinda like message in a bottle, mail boxes (like some use for card holders at weddings) and quilts.

We’re gonna put our engagement pictures in a book and have markers for guests to sign it, like a yearbook.

A friend of mine had a drawing of a bare tree and everyone put their fingerprints on the branches in various colors so it looked like leaves.

I think she bought the poster on etsy
