We had our musician sing “Maunaleo”- a beautiful Hawaiian song for our Destination Wedding Maui wedding:)

I walked down the aisle to a solo harp version of Schumann’s Widmung. It was beyond perfect. I didn’t think I’d cry, but the moment the harpist started playing this song, I couldn’t hold the tears back! I never had a dream wedding or even a dress in mind, but I knew I wanted to walk down the aisle to this song. The words and melody are so beautiful.

These are all such great songs! I did “Man and Wife” by Michelle Featherstone. Still makes me cry.

I was originally going to have “Carl Goes Up” from the movie Up, but now I’m leaning towards Rockabel’s Canon by the Piano Guys

Years ago I wanted to walk downt he isle with Pachabels Cannon D in violins. Considering this song is used by nearly every bride and I must be unique, my friend will be singing, “A Thousand Years”. The wedding party will walk out, then at the course after she says “One Step Closer”, I will walk down the Isle to my man. Wink

I walked down to the Jurassic Park theme. Worked out perfectly.

Commenting to follow! I haven’t walked down the aisle yet, but Fiance and I love November Rain by Guns ‘n’ Roses! Probably the instumental version however, it’s beautiful, and we both get goosebumps!

‘Grow Old With You’ by Adam Sandler, except it was sung by a friend and played on his acoustic 🙂

I’m walking down to Hoppipola by Sigur Ros. My favorite band, and many, many years ago when I heard this song for the first time, I said I wanted to walk down the aisle to it, and I am!

My fiance is walking out to the Vitamin String Quartet’s version of Jeremy by Pearl Jam, which is his favorite song too.

@beautifullyboheamian:  I’ve chosen Clair de Lune. I find it so relaxing (which will be good!), and I think it’s so beautiful and airy, which is what I hope to be on the wedding day. I think the bridesmaids are going to walk out to the first part, and I’ll walk out to a more climactic part of the song.

I want to use Pachelbel’s Canon in D, but a recording of myself playing it on the piano. How cool would that be?

Right now, I am pondering on the possibility of using Jonathan Cain’s version of the Bridal March.

However, Green is the Colour is a first runner-up; it’s a Pink Floyd song. Just the outro/piano parts.

We used “Marry Me” by Train.  The Save Me, San Francisco Album bonus track version.

@Jabberwocky:  my fiancé and I are thinking about that too! We’re nme necessarily huge Justice of the Peace fans, but we love the epicness of the soundtrack. Just curious – did your guests know it was the Jurassic Park theme or was it so out of context that they were unable to identify it?
