I’m walking to “First Day of My Life” by Bright Eyes. My brother is a musician and he and his friends recorded an instrumental version in studio for us ๐Ÿ™‚ <3333  We’ll play the recording so the my brother can still walk in the bridal party (he’s a groomsman)

We’re hiring a pianist. I wanted to walk down to the instrumental of ‘Marry Me’ because I just think the melody is so sweet, but my Mom is begging me to do it all the traditional way. I might just compromise and try to find a ‘soft and sweet’ version of the bridal chorus.

I’m walking in to Canon in D.  Something so wonderful about that song..gives me chills.  I’m having a string trio play “Hallelujah” in a cello solo during communion.  Maybe you could incorporate that song in another part of the ceremony??

The Twilight Princess theme from “Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” performed by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. A recording, of course. They’re not coming or anything.

Will You Be There – Michael Jackson but probably an instrumental version. My favourite song ever and it wasn’t even me who suggested it – it was my fiance ๐Ÿ™‚

I always envisioned (and I was NOT one of these girls who planned their wedding years in advance) that should I ever get married I would like Will You Be There in my wedding somehow. This kind of changed after Michael Jackson died as I thought it would make me too sad but when my fiance suggested it (he is a massive MJ fan as well see) I thought it must have been meant to be ๐Ÿ˜‰

Note – Will You Be There is the theme from the movie Free Willy – not to be confused with I’ll Be There which was the Jackson 5.

I’m walking down to an instrumental version of “Beauty and the Beast.”  Still haven’t decided what the bridal party/parents will walk to.

On the other end of the spectrum….

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MGs.

We’re not 100% decided on it, but I hope it wins. Recessional is Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder (that’s decided).
