Soooo i don’t know what to do. Growing up i have always wanted to walk down the aisle to Canon D … but now that the wedding is just over a month away (OMG) I am thinking that i would like to do something a bit non traditional. The new choice is by Vitamin String Quartet Your Guradian Angel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tStAK1v5_g ) which is one of my fav songs ever.
What do you all think? What are you walking down the aisle to?
@jennicole01: Just wanted to note that “Make you feel my love” is originally a Dylan song FYI!! Adele’s cover is totally beautiful though.
OP, my friend plays the classical guitar really beautifully, so we’ll have him play something. Haven’t figure out what yet. Pachelbel’s Canon in D is a gorgeous song and if that’s what you’ve always envisioned, you should do it! You could always have something more non-traditional for your exit.
Great choices, all. I chose something non-traditional: Fireflies by Owl City, in Harp (cover) from a girl who had her mp3 on youtube. The sound quality was great and the harp music was cute. It’s a fun beach wedding so I didn’t want anything too serious.
My mom is putting her foot down on the ceremony music. I wanted to play Vitamin String Quartet but she’s insisting that we play Canon in D or some other traditional classical music. If it’s up in the air, maybe check with your Fiance and parents to see if they feel strongly one way or the other.
These are all great! Thanks so much. I had not thought of the processional music because i always assumed that it was going to be canon D … but then i listened to it again and yes its beautiful it kinda left me with a meh feeling… not the feeling that i was anticipating. And then found the VSQ and was like wow that’s awesome … so many decsions lol
