Halo – Beyonce
Halo – Beyonce
Ahaha this question makes me laugh!! We have a secret planned. I will be walking down the aisle to the score from the horror movie Carrie.
We are die hard horror movie fans. We are having a Dia de los Muertos wedding and have promised friends and family no fake blood or body parts 🙂 I swear we’re cute!!!
So the score is actually beautiful and we love Carrie so much…it’s my comfort movie. If I’m feeling stressed the Fiance quietly turns on Carried and gets me an eye mask haha.
So no one will know that it’s from Carrie but us and you!

Vitamin String Quartet’s version of “The Music of the Night” from Phantom of the Opera.
Walking down with my 6 year old son to “Glasgow Love Theme” and the recessional is “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys. One of the best songs ever recorded.
I had Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring by Bach, sung by a full choir with organ
I’ve always had my heart set on Hoppipola (and I’m surprised no one has voted for it!) but realized it may be a bit dramatic for our ceremony/venue. It would do well in a big church/big wedding..
I like Marry Me by Train..but I’m not sure. I read on the boards about Regina Spektors version of ‘Real Love’ and I adore it. I’m really thinking that might be more our vibe 🙂
Storybook Love (theme from A Princess Bride) arranged for classica guitar performed by Matthew Lister. Fiance and I both love a Princess Bride which makes this have a little more meaning to us..especially bc we will probably be the only ones who know what it’s from 🙂
I was seriously considering the Piano Guys version of “A Thousand Years” or “Marry Me” (instrumental version), but I think I’m going with the more traditional “Canon in D”… but not just ANY Canon in D.. specifically The O’Neill Brothers version which has both piano and violin. I like this style of the song the best!
