Canon in D!
“History in the making” By Darius Rucker. I get tears in my eye when I hear it on the radio!!
But I also like From this moment on!! I might take that =)
My bridesmaids are walking to a gorgeous piano instrumental version of “Fantasy” by Mariah Carey. It was my Maid/Matron of Honor and I’s fave song as little girls. The piano version is amazing. You can find it under ITunes, just look for piano tribute to mariah carey.
I’m walking down to “Grow Old with Me” by Youngstown. I like the original by John Lennon, but I think the Youngstown version sounds more soft and elegant.
All the processionnal will be really traditionnal but i am walking on Instumental Greensleeves… It make me think of an english garden!
I would really like to walk down the aisle to the song “On the Street Where You Live” from the movie My Fair Lady. I’m not too sure if it is possible or how it would sound though.. we will have one violinist doing the music for the ceremony…
I LOVE the hawaiian musician IZ’s version of the song “Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World” though! Same song (kind of) though maybe different version as you Finbergtobe? I really want to do that song for our first dance song. I think it would be so perfect for us because we are planning on doing a tropical vintage theme and my fiance and I both first heard that song at a luau in Maui right before we got officially engaged 🙂 …I hope my fiance will like that song too for our first dance! I haven’t brought it up to him yet because I’m so afraid he will say no ;p
All I Want Is You – Barry Louis Polisar.
We wanted something happy and laidback for our outdoor ceremony.
