I am going with a simple white dress, like this one (but a little longer!)

@TakeTwo:  I am having 2 vow renewals. The first one we are having on our one year anniversary (well, Mar 8, 2014) to get the Destination Wedding I wanted but didn’t get to have (plus we won’t be having our honeymoon till then). It will just be the two of us on a beach (I can’t pick which Sandals resort I want but I have time). This dress is going to be more simple, carefree and flowy. I have found 7 dresses I like but I haven’t tried them on yet… Probably won’t try these on till 3-6 months before the date:

My 2nd vow renewal (still not sure about planning this) will happen in further years (10, 15, 20 or 25) and will have family included. I plan on wearing something figure hugging that reflected the first dress I wore for my wedding. I like this one:

@TakeTwo:  I really dislike wedding dresses (they all look the same to me) so I’m opting for a ivory or champagne evening dress that has a little more spunk to it.

I’m a man, but I post under my actual name so I can’t tell you what I’m wearing, as the bride might see the post!  And it’s a surprise.  She’s got no idea what’s coming.

@TakeTwo:  I don’t really picture myself at all.  I mean, I picture myself there, but I’m not good with deciding on what to wear/how to do my hair just for a date night out, much less something like this.

It will be relatively formal though.  Semi-formal, I suppose is the accurate word.

My husband’s response is “Whatever you want”.  lol

Wedding dress! I had a very simple dress originally and it wasn’t at all what I wanted. $99 sale rack at David’s Bridal purchase. Was ok at the time, but now it’s time for my ‘dream dress’!

We had a courthouse wedding in May of ’12 so that I could be on my hubby’s orders  and it makes liife easier to move and live as a married couple in the military. We are having a big wedding in Oct (suppose it is techinically a vow renewal) and I’m wearing a formal wedding gown.  I work with a woman who is planning her 25th wedding anniversary vow renewal, they never had a big wedding, and they’re going all out…tux, wedding gown, huge reception, the whole nine. Do what makes you happy!!! My dress…

We just got married last month but it was a super budget wedding so we plan to renew our vows on our 7 or 10 year anniversary, plus I just want a reason to buy another wedding dress lol and have a bigger party.

Anyways, my wedding dress will be much like

I’ve been in love with the dress since I started looking for dresses last year but my mom kept saying “You need a *real* wedding dress for your first dress” I couldn’t argue since she was paying
