Ooh they have so many pretty hair pieces out these days! I’m going to have my hair somewhat similar to yours but probably less braidage because i don’t think I have that much hair haha. I LOVE yours though, that would be ideal.
I love the hair piece you got, will you sort of run it along side the braids around the back? Very pretty.
I think I’m going to have a side comb type thing in mine, not sure what size yet. They’re from a local designer http://www.davieandchiyo.com/collections/hairpieces It will depend on my hair colour at the time of the wedding though, it’s going to be lavender ish and I”m not sure how that works with gold.

UGH. I need help here too. i have a mermaid ivory/champagne lace dress and thought about a half updo with some braids. I’m thinking a grecian style hairdo, but definately LOST on veil? no veil? head piece? head piece with veil?
September wedding with outdoor reception. Also how do you deal if it gets to be too hot? how do you easily transition into maybe an updo? I’m a gymrat and my hair usually ends up in a bun or ponytail when i get hot. I’m not trying for that hot in the club hair in a bun do!

I plan on wearing my hair down in big waves with no veil, no accessories. Just simple and classic.

I bought this along with some jeweled bobby pins from DSW last weekend. They have all sorts of decently priced hair accessories.

My florist made me a hair piece. I had planned on wearing a veil for ceremony & then switching to the head piece. It was just too pretty. Wore the flower headpiece the whole time

Love the hairstyles, bees!!! I am not a veil girl either… This is what I went with (super cheap on clearance) and loved it:

I just bought this hairpiece on Etsy! I was going to do real flowers, but as I’m getting married in the dead of summer outdoors I am concerned about wilting. I think this will solve the problem nicely. Still on the fence in regards to a veil, but if I do it will be blush.

Love your hair and the photo–your husband is looking so lovingly at you that it made my heart melt! And you look gorgeous.

Everyone seems to have an updo or long hair these days. What about short-haired brides?

A bow! I know..kind of odd, but I’ve always loved bows. So I got a big white satiny bow for my hair. Haven’t figured out the hairstyle yet though…

I’m in love with the first pin you pictured! I love gold tones and think they would look good with any hair color as long as it’s not super bright
i do have a lot of hair but they don’t need a lot for braids so I’d try it out in a trial… not sure if I’ll place mine in front or behind the braids… I’ll have to ply around with it

i love your hair! That’s what I’m thinking of doing (but my hair is a fair bit shorter). I love the hairpiece you got too, it would look amazing in your dark hair.
I’ve got a copule of things I’m going to take with me to my trial:
I’ll probably end up using the comb in the middle at the back of my hair. The bottom hairpiece actually works really well as a belt… so might use it for one of the dresses I’m considering

I’m not sure how short your hair is, mine is about shoulder length, maybe an inch or so longer…
I just had my trial today, so thought I’d post some photos
I’m totally in love with the braids and curls. I’m home now in my pj’s with my hair and makeup still done because I don’t want to undo it all!

Mine’s pretty short, almost a pixie cut, but curly.
