What are you guys doing I know they’re are like a million options. If you are all ready married what worked for you? Please and thanks! 🙂

At 47 my boobs are still not bad so I don’t have to worry about them. I am not wearing a “bra”… under my dress.

Anyone else? Come on I know you all on here had to make that decision or still do.

I bought a bustier and I had an existing spanx-like underwear that went up to under the bust like someone mentioned. When I did my first fitting, everything was fine and fit, but I just did my final fitting yesterday and the bustier made the dress too tight. (I think they might of slightly taken in the dress too much) So, they had me take it off and it felt much better. BUT, then I felt I lost any semblence of breasts. XD (I am like somewhere between an A and B cup) So, they sewed some cups into the top of the dress. So, really, on the day I will only be wearing the spanx-like piece and my garter under there!

I’m not sure I want a long line bra, as I feel it adds volume to my torso… I’m thinking of wearing a really good nude color bra, but then again, my dress has cap sleeves.
How about a corset with bra? Or a backless invisible bra?

That’s my main concern is the add weight factor, I don’t want anything to add thickness to my midsection. So I think I might buy spanx because I just had the first dress fitting and they are just going to sew in cups for my boobs since the dress has a built in corset and i really don’t need one.

My dress has built in boning in the bust and I am just having that tailored to be more supportive (34Dirty Delete in US sizes!). It is backless, so I can’t wear a bra with it. Other than that, just plain flesh coloured panties. No shapewear or anything for me. Too uncomfortable and I don’t really feel like I need it.

I got a longline bra for my dress. I don’t think it adds any thickness in the midsection. I found this bra mentioned once before on weddingbee so I bought this: http://www.target.com/p/self-expressions-womens-bridal-ifit-longline-bra-with-thong-assorted-colors/-/A-14084098#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink

Depends on your dress. Some can get away with the longline bras/corsets but I definitely can’t with my Allure 8764 dress. If you go to Allure’s bridal website and look that dress, you’ll see why. Having cups sewn in was NOT an option at all due to the style/cut and fabric.
I bought this:
And added a halter style clear strap to it (it has 15 hidden slots for strap hooks). It’s going to work perfectly.
And I found a pair of thong undies that I am actually comfortable wearing. They’re by Hanky Panky and the great part is that an OBGYN designed them, so they feel perfect. No bunching, no extra fabric, no super creep-age either. Highly recommend them for the ladies that like thongs (I had a love/hate relationship with them up until I found this brand).

I had cups sewn into my dress and I didn’t wear anything else under it.

@kahlanarahl: Im an allure 8764 as well and wasnt sure what brand of that type of bra to buy but this one seems great! Have you worn it already? I’m curious to see how it holds up during the whole day. I wore one during prom but it kept sliding down :/ Please let me know how it goes!
Also, where can I find the panties you bought? I wish I could wear spanx just to feel better about bumps but they definitely don’t work very well with this dress!
