What are you wearing UNDERNEATH your dress?

I wore a thong (hanky panky – seriously, worth every penny), a split slip (it was SO HOT I didn’t want to be all sweaty and sticking together) and… that’s it.  My dress had lots of boning and my boobies weren’t going anywhere.  I slipped out of the slip (ha) before I let the hubs untie me after the wedding so it was just my white lace thong.  🙂

Deep red taffeta corset with gold contrast stitching, black 14-strap suspender belt, nude fully fashioned (seamed) stockings and black satin knickers with chiffon frills. I looked more like a burlesque performer than a bride under my dress.

lacey beige undies and maybe a nu-bra. I’m having cups sewn into my dress though so I probably won’t need the nu-bra

@SpecialSundae:  OMG THAT IS FANCY haha! I bet it was so awesome!

 @almostmrsj:  It is going to be deaqthly hot in my dress in a few weeks here and after trying it on last weekend in the store and being hot, im seriously considering wearing a little short… What’s a split slip? Did it prevent the ever so wonderful sweaty chaffing thigh situation?

I’ll be wearing an ivory colored bridal basque (aka a long line bra), matching panties and silk thigh highs (held up by the suspenders on the basque).

The expensive stockings will be my motivation to keep my pretty heels on all day!

@MsJ2theZ:  It was fun!

Plus it suited me down to the ground. I did have normal-ish bridal undies for the honeymoon too.

@SpecialSundae:  Not yet, I have them picked out and just have to bite the bullet and realize I’m NOT going to find a deal on them!

stockingirl.com carries 100% silk stockings made by Antonia, and I think I’ll be ordering from there.

@SpecialSundae:  This sounds awesome! I love seamed stockings.

I…am not wearing anything, I don’t think. Maybe some pale pink colored boyshorts? Boring, I know. My dress fits a little tight with a longline bra underneath, but I don’t really need it because the interior of the bust is really structured (which I didn’t realize when I tried it on!). You could also see the bottom of the bra around my hip area.

@UmbrellaMoon:  I was just going to say that the vast majority of silk stockings are made by a company called Cervin and if you buy them as Cervin it’ll save you up to 50%. They’re lovely (my husband bought me a pair for my birthday this year).

@MrsF2Bee:  The UK has a much better reputation for fine lingerie. What are you looking for and what’s your budget?

All mine was made (or at least designed) in the UK!

I think I’m going to wear some lacy blue undies! No bra, since I’m having cups sewn into my dress.
