A bubble bath, a fluffy robe, a cup of tea and either a book  or a chick flick.

Alternatively, putting on some good sing along music usually does it for me.

I didn’t do it this year, but last year I had a “thankfulness jar” that helped me. I had a jar, notepad, and pen sitting together on a shelf. And throughout the year, I would write down something good that happened, fold up the paper, and put it in my jar. When I was sad, I’d go through all the pieces of paper reminding me of all the awesome things that have happened to me so far. That was great and I want to start one again for 2016.

Also, going on Netflix and watching stand-up comedies always makes me feel a lot better. Not just because they make me insta-laugh, but because it’s a good reminder how many people turn embarassing stories and bad days into something really cool like a whole performance!

And of course, indulging in a good meal and/or drink. Not necessarily ice cream (hehehe) but even going to the store for ingredients on my favorite dinner meal and getting some hot chocolate with marshmallows. Yay!

MiaBella03:  Go do some volunteer work at a shelter,a food bank, an immigrant reading program or free health clinic. You will soon see that your life isn’t so bad in comparison to others’.

Hi this was my week!! Spent time talking to fi and supportive friends. That helped. Today I am relaxing and will spend tomorrow with breast cancer survivors. Let’s remember its ok to be down, but we will get better again too. Let’s have patience with ourselves…and okay some awesome music. Prayer helped too!

MiaBella03:  Sorry about that. What usually cheers me up when i’m having a rough day is online shopping or knitting.

Melt together some chocolate chips with peanut butter in the microwave and stir when it comes out. Does the trick every time. 🙂 Hope you feel better!

MiaBella03:  My comment was not meant to be a guilt trip. It was a sincere recommendaion. When we look outward, rather than inward, we do feel better.

Something as simple as paying for the groceries of someone behind you in the line wil give you and them a warm glow. Everytime I go grocery shopping, I notice people who are obviously struggling to buy enough groceries with the $$ they have availabe, whether that is a single Mom,or a senior citizen.

A good book or TV show and a glass of wine.

Dogs, no matter how bad my day has been my dogs being super happy to see me come home makes all the bad seem trivial

MiaBella03:  Aw sorry you’re having a crappy time.

My remedies involve chilling at home and feeling sorry for myself. Sounds bad, but after a while I realize I need to get over it haha.

The other option is going out for a walk. Watching a sappy cheesy rom-com. Taking a nap. Reading a book. Watching make up tutorials on youtube. Sleeping. Eating. Those always help!

Feel better!!

ETA: SHOPPING! Preferably online. Never fails.
