We bought all of our girls’ dresses, so that was part of the gift. We also gave them each a pashmina and some foot petals to help their feet on the wedding day. It’s not original, but they all really liked the pashminas and I’ve seen them wear them since. I was able to find some great silk/cashmere pashminas on eBay for a very affordable price, as money was tight for us too.

Their necklaces and earrings. Custom-designed hand-made pearl and hammered silver – $70 each. $15 pearl earrings from etsy for the flower girl and a re-gifted necklace. I only have two bridesmaids – it just seemed worth it. I figure pearls and silver are something a girl can wear a lot. I also paid for their hair, but not their dresses.

I am getting them earrings with birthstones and will pay for hair/makeup/nails.

i am a big fan of covering bridesmaid costs as a gift as well. when i was a bridesmaid, i would have much rather prefered that then some trinkety things i never ended up using.

I found some really cute monogrammed totes on etsy.com that are very reasonable. I know I want to put in flip-flops, their jewelry, and something else that is non-wedding related. Maybe a giftcard to a favorite store, or a Coach wristlet. All of my girls love Coach, and you can get things very reasonable at an outlet store.

I will be purchasing their shoes for the wedding and also their jewlery. I wanted to something they would appreciate and not toss in a bag after the wedding. As a bridesmaid the best gifts I have received have been a bag with my intials on it and flip flops/slippers to wear at the reception. To be honest, I can’t even remember some of the other gifts I have received.

Something I think is kinda nice is bath bombs from Lush. After working so hard on your big day, give them some bath stuff so they can really relax!

I have been pondering this as well. I think I came up with the following
1) 2 Tiffany champagne flutes ($15 each, http://www.tiffany.com)
2) A cheapy necklace that looks pretty and they can wear at the wedding
3) A $6 gift certificate to our local cupcake shoppe (that will buy 2 cupcakes!)
4) Little paper box shaped like a shoe (hot pink!) filled with lifesaves/breathmints
5) A couple airplane bottles of vodka/rum- depending on drink of choice!
6) Reusable tote from target- approx. 2 bucks!!
Grand total between $50-$60!!

We’re date twins!! The funny thing is that today I spent a good portion of my work-day trying to figure out what gift to give my 4 Bridesmaid or Best Man and one Junior Bridesmaid or Best Man. I thought about all the weddings I have been in and never once have I re-used any gift/jewelry. My BM’s dresses have a high neckline, so no necklace will work, two of them have bigger wrists so bracelets are hard to find that work, and only 2 have their ears pierced so earrings are out. I am paying for part of their hair, and will provide lunch/snacks/beverages the day of. I am also getting them different pairs of Victoria’s secret pajamas, the lounge pant and cute T’s kind, and maybe some lotions and sprays, and perhaps a MAC eyeshadow (because I’m obsessed!). These are all things I know they would LOVE, and I get to somewhat personalize based on the person.

Well I had already bought them gifts for the shower and there were 8 girls total so spending a lot on each wasn’t an option for me. For their Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts I got them certificates to a salon. I figured they could use it to either get their hair or makeup done for the wedding or they could always just buy products with it if they wanted as well.

As a past bridesmaid, I’ve gotten jewelry (necklace and earrings) to wear for the wedding along with a jewelry box/travel jewelry holder. For several of the weddings, I was given a manicure/pedicure before the wedding.
