Darling Husband is having surgery tomorrow, so… my plans are now to hang out with him and make sure he’s as comfortable as possible!  I am going to sneak out for Easter mass Sunday morning, but that’s really it!

Nothing much holiday related.

Darling Husband has a tennis match on Saturday morning and then we have a mixed doubles match together that afternoon.  Then Darling Husband has a fantasy baseball draft followed by us having 4 other couples over to our house for a potluck dinner (we’re making fajitas!).

Sunday we’re going to brunch with DH’s parents and then my parents are coming through town that evening on the way home from vacation.  We’re doing dinner with them.

@HisIrishPrincess:  Pineapple bread pudding sounds delicious!

Doctor Who starts again on Saturday night so we’ll be watching that.

On Sunday, I’ll go to church and then spend the rest of the day making an awesome dragon cake for the Game of Thrones season premier.  It’s going to be a good weekend.

We are moving this weekend! We will be packing up a Uhaul Saturday or Monday and getting that moved to a storage space. We are staying with family for a month while we look for our new place (we’re moving to a new area).

We will go to church on Sunday, but I’m not sure how we’ll balance seeing both my family and my FI’s family yet. Maybe breakfast with them after church, dinner with my parents.

I’m excited to move!

Fiance works on Saturday, I think, and then I’m going with one of my BMs to try on Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses before we order them this coming week. Sunday, I’m going to my grandma’s for Easter lunch and Fiance is going to his mom’s. Normally, he’d probably just come with me, since we see his mom every Sunday for lunch, but his brother is going to be in town, and he wants to see him. That won’t end well, and I’m avoiding them as much as I can.

Basketball!  Tonight, tomorrow night, Saturday, Sunday.  Then the Game of Thrones premiere.  I’m going to make breakfast Saturday probably…?  I didn’t make any set plans because I might end up going out to watch games.  Hopefully I won’t be angry all weekend.

So as you can see…no actual Easter plans.

Friday and Saturday, I have to work at night. Sunday, I have an Easter sunrise service and a second church service that I help with music during. Monday, I am moving into FH’s and my new home!!! Ah! And Tuesday (which I guess technically isn’t part of the weekend, but we will be on break from school still) we have a second engagement photo/video shoot with some friends. ๐Ÿ™‚

Saturday my sister, nephew, some cousins & I are going to hang out at the beach. The cousins are in from Arizona and don’t get to see my adorable 5 mo old nephew often. Sister has to work Easter, so this will be their only chance til Thanksgiving.

Sunday the SO & I will make the rounds at my family. Breakfast at mom’s side, lunch & Easter egg hunts on Dad’s. If we’re not exhausted, we’ll travel 45 min to my hometown & see my godfather’s family… but it’s not likely.

Thank goodness my SO’s family never does anything for holidays. I don’t know how we’d fit a 2 hour drive from LA to San Diego in with all the houses I have to hit for my side!

Darling Husband is going to take off and see his parents while I stay here.  I also have an infection on top of my chronic sickness ๐Ÿ™

He won’t be gone for a full 4 days though, and I’ll visit my sister & Brother-In-Law for a few hours.  lol This is actually the first time I’m realizing Darling Husband and I could do a dinner on Monday.  I guess I’ll grab some groceries for something if I feel up to it!

@BP2Be:  Oh!  Well I don’t watch the Walking Dead (I saw the season 2 finale I think, but that’s it…ha!).  But I’d watch that if it’s the finale!  Since you have a DVR you can turn around and watch Game of Thrones…the finale is always more important!

We are currently living with the FI’s parents (long story, but basically we had relocated to MI for FI’s job and ultimate goal was to relocate to NY where family is.  Unexpected opportunity to do that came up and we moved back with no house yet, so we are staying with them while we house hunt).  Anyway we are joining them for easter at my FMIL’s sisters place with all of FI’s family.  I am making macaroni and cheese and homemade biscuits.  Possibly some dark chocolate kaluah cookies also (they are everyones favorite).  So basically our plan is to hang out with family and eat a TON of food.
