i love edible favours.  these all sound incredible.  we had milk chocolate and dark chocolate mint smoothies from a gourmet chocolate shoppe.  they were a bit of a splurge but my dh loves them.  they were individually wrapped in fuschia foil and put in little white boxes with a big fuschia ribbon.

We’re doing little Prosecco bottles for everyone!  We have a sign with it that says “Time to Drink Champagne and Dance on the Table”- I can’t wait to see it all come together!  Oh and of course some sparkling cider for the people that don’t want alcohol.

@Willow1991:  We did Jordan Almonds, and literally for every favour I fixed, I popped an almond in my mouth.  I love them!!! Everybody eats them here, (there are bowls in every house nearly! lol) although some go for the more modern almonds now that also have chocolate in them.  I love the special meaning Jordan Almonds have.  The bitterness of life (almond) Is sweetened with love (the sugar coating).

@MrsPeachMartini:  This is what were doing also! My FI’s parents brew the most amazing limoncello so they’re doing a couple big bottles for toasts and small bottles as favors. Im debating putting small schnapps or shot glasses at each place setting and having a bottle passed to each table by the servers and letting people take the shot glasses/schnapps glasses home with them and the mini bottles as a favour or having individual servings passed for toasts and just using the limoncello alone as a favour

We’re doing custom fortune cookies! On our second date, we grabbed a bag of fortune cookies and sat on some swings at a nearby park eating them and laughing over the fortunes. So we decided  to do some custom fortune cookies. From there, we decided on a chinese dinner buffet! Then I decided to put up paper lanterns… I’ve accidentally morphed my wedding into an Chinese themed wedding all because of the fortune cookies. lol

Handmade caramels in brown boxes with blue wrapping paper, made as a wedding present for us by a talented friend (who has been featured in Martha Stewart magazine for non-food related work).  No leftovers (and even begging for more by guests) so very well-received.  We are contemplating commissioning some from her for Christmas presents.

We’re doing personalized bags of coffee with biscotti.  We’re both coffee drinkers, but couldn’t afford a Starbucks barista for the reception.  So, it’s the next best thing 😉
