Don’t get me wrong, I love me a good classic like A Christmas Story, It’s A Wonderful Life, etc.
But just wonderng what are some of your favorite “non classic” holiday movies?
Some of mine include Elf with Will Ferrell and The Holiday with Cameron Diaz. Love Actually is one of those that I’ve yet to watch the whole movie in one sitting!

@zippylef: I love Christmas Vacation! My favorite movie! 🙂
This isn’t really a Christmas movie, but I love to watch Uncle Buck around this time of the year. It’s a really funny movie.

@zippylef: Hahahaha. That is pretty hysterical.
One of my favorites is Elf. I know I have more, but my brain isn’t working yet.

Home For The Holidays with Holly Hunter and Robert Downey Jr. It is technically a Thanksgiving movie I guess, but we always watch it at some point between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

@expecting rain: That’s my DH’s favorite too, lol.
Elf for sure. Nightmare Before Christmas is fun. We’re No Angels. Scrooged. Shop Around the Corner.

One Magic Christmas. My mom and I used to watch it every year at Christmas time, and it’s still one of my faves!

@zippylef: We always watch that when decorating our tree. It’s one of the most quoted movies around our house.
Christmas Story is another one we watch a lot, and Planes, Trains and Automobiles get’s watched between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
@eeniebeans: Home For the Holidays is one of my friend’s top holiday movies too. I have never seen it. I’ll have to add it to the list this year.
