I love Gwen and Penelope for a girl but can’t use them.  We are planning on naming our daughter (currently pregnant) Addison.  For a boy I love Guy, Bradley, and Graham.  Husband vetoed Guy and Graham ๐Ÿ™

My fiancé and I have already been talking baby names for the far future. But we like Judah for a boy, and Atarah for a girl. They are both used in the Bible, and have great spiritual meanings. Which is what we both love!

My husband’s Spanish so I want to choose Spanish first names. We have a little boy now with a name that my Mother-In-Law suggested, and I hope we have a little girl next because we agreed on a girl’s name but it was hard coming up with the one boy’s name for little guy now, I have no idea what we’re going to do if we have another boy!

So for girl we agreed to name her Elena, as that is the Spanish version of my little sister’s name.  Elena will be a little sis too whenever we get around to having her!

Another name I really like for girls is Vida. “Life” in Spanish.

For boy, I like Marcos, Fabian, and Diego. My husband isn’t sure about those though. I’ve got time….

My kids will all have Chinese middle names too.  Chinese parents make up given names for their kids and will sometimes use classical literature like The Book of Songs for inspiration similar to how the Bible is used for western names inspiration.  For my little guy, I took a character from my dad’s name and one from my mom’s name and combined them and I love the name! I hope little guy likes his Chinese name too but probably not when I’m teaching him how to write it in Chinese, lol.

I’ve known since I was 10 years old that if I have a daughter, she would be named Alexandra. I told my SO early on that the name is non negotiable. For boys I love Henry and Dominic.

coffeebean87 :  You should be married to my husband. His late father is Dmonic and I told him I can’t do it. Think it would make a great middle name though. ๐Ÿ™‚

Prettysmile40 :  Hehe. My Great Grandfather’s name was Domenico and I like the idea of using a family name of sorts.
