Snacks, meals, whatever! I am trying to keep on track with my healthy eating and exercising for the wedding in April (and just life itself lol) and thought it might be fun for us to help inspire each other with our favorites.
My favorite healthy snack is eating carrot chips (or baby carrots) dipped in salsa. Lots of veggies and lots of flavor!
My favorite healthy dinners are chicken enchiladas with vegan queso sauce (I steam cook the chicken, add black beans and salsa, then use the vegan queso as the sauce inside and on top) and black bean burgers
I also really like roasting chickpeas in various seasonings. Crunchy and healthy!

Greek Yogurt (my absolute fave) and Peanuts (unsalted, dry roasted) are my favorite healthy snacks! Chicken breast is also a pretty major staple in my diet haha. I eat eggs every day for breakfast. My favorite veggies are broccoli, green beans, cauliflower and green pepper. I also recently discovered Quinoa!

Fresh berries with greek yogurt, almonds, snap peas, raw green beans, brussel sprouts, dried strawberry chips, lettuce wraps, baked black bean chips (warm them in the oven first), and broccoli chips, which is thin sliced broccoli florets drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt then baked until crunchy.

I started low carb for my April wedding, its going awesome so far. Don’t miss starches as much as sweets. My favorite snacks are chopped veggies with dip (sour cream +hidden valley mix) also wasabi dry roasted edamame and cocoa dusted almonds, which almost satisfy my sweet tooth 🙂

I love love looove blending 8 oz of greek yogurt or kefir with 6-8 oz of frozen berries for a snack on the go!

I eat lots of non-fat yogurt & for dinner I will often eat a bowl of Green Giant “Valley Fresh Steamers” Broccoli & Cheese!! It is SOOO good, and a whole bag of it (okay there are 2.5 servings per bag, but I just eat the whole bag and call it a meal) has 150 calories and only 6.25 grams of fat!! Filling, delicious, and not so bad for you all at once!

For snacks – kale chips, mixed nuts, strawberries/raspberries, carrots/pretzels and hummus

Meals: Stir fry with shrimp – low cal and EASY! Seafood for dinner most evenings – also low cal, but expensivish, homemade soup with lots of veggies – especially in the cold weather months.
Snacks: Baby carrots with fat free ranch, popcorn, pop cakes (from Whole Foods) with a tiny bit of pb&j or pb & chocolate chips.

For snacks I love dry roasted (no salt) cashews, apples, greek yogurt and dark chocolate sugar free pudding cups! Satisfys my sweet tooth for only 60 cals!!

when I’m treating myself but still trying to be a little good: chips and salsa, a piece of dark chocolate, sorbet
breakfast almost every day: bran cereal with a banana and almond milk (the sweetened kind has the same calories as skim milk!)

you should try using nonfat greek yogurt to make your veggie dip instead of sour cream! Its much healthier and the ranch flavor covers up any flavor difference!

I just started slow roasting my own grape tomatoes and they are DELICIOUS. I don’t even LIKE tomatoes and these are so good and healthy. I also snack on edamame, apples with PB, purple grapes, crunchy roasted chickpeas, or almost any kind of nut.
For breakfast I eat a sliced up banana with peanuts and a little honey/cinnamon. Sometimes I add a baguette-sized slice of a toasted whole wheat bread.
