I own this baby. It’s a natural sapphire in a diamond halo flanked by what I believe are 6 lab grown baguette sapphires. I need to have it sized. I can wear it on my middle finger with a ring sized but I want to wear it my right ring finger. And I will see if it can be dipped in rhodium.

This is my push gift π a 3ct Colombian emerald in 14 yellow gold and diamonds, I almost never wear it because it is a little too big on my 4 size finger π€

Didn’t know that morganite came in pink! All I need to do is save up and not eat for 21 years and 273 days…

Ohhh I loooove morganite rings… when they’re new. Too many horror stories about it getting all scratched up though, I would not spend that kind of money for morganite! SUCH a beauty though.
This is my silliest ring, part of a wedding gift. It’s HUGE and fun and I’ve never worn it a single time. Hahhaha… it’s made up of garnets and diamonds on 18k gold.

mo86co : btw you have very interesting nail polish combo, I really like that! Your emerald is beautiful, and reminds me of my tourmaline pendant in that it has a special inner glow. I also rarely wear my pendant for fear of scratching it, ahh. Do you have to baby your pretty ring? Here’s a shot of the garnet ring with the pendant, in ugly indoor lighting.

baunie : You sure know your gems! It was also a gift and I had no idea what it was, almost decided to wear it as a daily necklace until I learned that was not a good idea… why must all the pretty stones be so delicate! I’m only brave enough to wear diamond, moissanite, sapphire, and ruby daily.

elderbee : I guess the common term would be tsavorite, oops! Google is telling me it’s one of the rarest forms of garnet. Today I learned…
