Seriously- it’s summertime. This summer has be amazing for blueberry crops in my area, and they are SO GOOD. I’ve been buying them by the bucketload at Sam’s and snacking on them all day. Don’t know how the calories go on them, but they’re fruit- they can’t be that terrible for you. 🙂
I like Greek yogurt, too, I’ve been buying Chobani, but I’ll use it as almost a meal replacement, like for breakfast or lunch with fruit or a salad or something.
I agree with PP’s- regular “reduced fat” and “low cal” snacks just depress me. I’d rather eat fruit and just face the fact that I have to stop eating crap than eat some half-taste cardboard version of what I really want.
Fiance also laughs at me because if we go out to eat or something and I get dessert, I’ll get it to-go, and leave it in the fridge, then once or twice a day I’ll walk by the fridge with a fork and grab one bite. Not half the serving, but one single bite. I figure three or four times a day of that spread over three or four days is better than wolfing down a whole big slice of cheesecake, still lets me eat what I want, and because I’m literally standing in front of the fridge it’s too awkward and self-conscious to let me eat more than one bite.
